Chris Dobey will be a lot more relaxed in this game having picked up a couple of points and he'll be very aware of Michael van Gerwen's fragilities in the semi-finals this year.

    Dobey 0-0 Van Gerwen

Cardiff was on course to be a contender for crowd of the season so far.

Gerwyn Price's quarter-final defeat seems to have vacuumed a large amount of the crowd noise out of the Utilita Arena.

Let's hope this match can spark them back into good spirits.

Dobey to throw first, game on!

It’s a great chance for both Chris Dobey and Rob Cross to take down two of the top four and close the gap. But both will need to raise their level.

If you look at how Chris Dobey played earlier and Michael van Gerwen played then there should only be one winner, but it doesn't work like that.

I can see it going down to the final leg.

I think a lot of people who watched that match, or certainly the last few legs, will be in complete shock that not only has Rob Cross won, but he has done so in that fashion.

He averaged 89.4 in that match to Gerwyn Price's 97.4

There’s disbelief in the crowd, and there’s disbelief in the media room. Rob Cross looked nowhere in that final leg until those last three, brilliant darts. As soon as the first treble 20 went in, it looked inevitable. Outstanding from Cross to weather the storm.

Rob Cross has the darts, but fails to find a treble with any of his first six. A 140 on Gerwyn Price's second visit send the crowd roaring.

Price sets up a 170 out. How good would this be?

It doesn't get going, but he will get at least three darts at 115.

    19, treble 20 and a miss of double 18.

Cross needs 170 for the match. Treble 20, treble 20, bull!

    Wow. Just wow.

Cardiff is silenced. Cross wins 6-5. Talk about clutch finishing.

"Na na na na na na na na na na na, Gerwyn, Gerwyn Price," chant this Cardiff crowd and the Iceman is using it to his advantage.

Rob Cross gets a chance at 160 for the match, but his second treble 20 attempt is far too low.

Price pins tops. 5-5. We're going the distance.

Some poor Rob Cross darts give Price a boost and in response, the Iceman pins tops to make it 5-4.

This is as close to a home atmosphere Gerwyn Price will get all season and a 180, which he celebrates with his arms spread wide, gets the crowd going.

His next visit of 132 set up six darts at 74 for a break of throw.

Treble 18, 10, double five. "COME ON" is the scream from the Iceman.. He breaks back.

An excellent start to the fourth leg from Rob Cross, who fires in a maximum to continue his momentum against Welsh native Gerwyn Price.

He opts for the double 12 route. Price splits the 12s, but pins double six for a hold of throw.
