Two second-half goals from Workington gave them the win against Harrogate Town in Blue Square Bet North.

Peter Bore had put Harrogate ahead in the first half before Anthony Wright and David Hewson clinched the third win of the season for the home side.

Harrogate manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York, external: "We've got ambitions to be a top eight team this season.

"There's no reason why we can't because everything is laid out for them but tonight they didn't do enough."

Weaver added: "Too many lose balls, too many balls inviting some pressure, giving the ball away in dangerous areas but then we got into our stride and it was probably our first real meaningful attack and we scored.

"It's just very disappointing. It seems we have to work so hard to gain a goal and a lot of possession and then it's an easy goal against us.

"It's given Workington a lot of heart and they're back in the game. Then they nick it again.

"Both teams were having a go but I thought we lacked the composure that we've shown recently.

"They broke on us a couple of times and one of them led to their second goal.

"It's about players realising their potential with us."
