Truro City sign Salisbury City winger Adam Kelly

Salisbury City winger Adam Kelly has joined Truro City.

The 23-year-old was playing for Blue Square Bet South rivals Salisbury City but agreed to mutually terminate his contract with the Wiltshire club.

Kelly has joined the Truro on a week-to-week deal as they look to have a transfer embargo lifted by the Conference after resolving tax issues.

The Exeter-born player made 77 appearances for Salisbury, scoring 14 times in all competitions.

"He's joined us on a non-contract basis," boss Lee Hodges said.

"Because we are currently issued with a transfer embargo from the league, we can't offer players permanent deals but it's great to have him."
