Truro City are still seven points above the Blue Square Bet South relegation zone despite losing 2-1 to Basingstoke at Treyew Road.

The White Tigers got off to the worst possible start as Aaron Pugh scored an own goal after six minutes to give the visitors the lead.

Basingstoke doubled their advantage on the stroke of half-time as Delano Sam-Yorke headed home.

Stewart Yetton pulled one back for City after 58 minutes.
