Adam Murray signs new Mansfield Town contract

Mansfield Town player-assistant manager Adam Murray has signed a new one-year deal which ties him to the Blue Bet Square Premier club until May 2014.

The 31-year-old midfielder combines first-team training duties with coaching the youth team.

"I have certain projects I have got planned and the chairman is obviously happy with the roles," Murray said.

"[Running] the youth team has been a breath of fresh air and I'm enjoying every minute of it."

Murray, who began his career at Derby County, is in his third spell with the club.
