Stockport County sign Fleetwood Town defender Kieran Charnock

Stockport County have signed Fleetwood Town defender Kieran Charnock on loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old spent the first-half of the season on loan at Macclesfield where he played 14 games, scoring once.

The centre-back came through the youth system at Wigan and has also had spells at Northwich Victoria, Peterborough, Torquay and Morecambe.

Stockport have also confirmed assistant manager Stuart Watkiss has left the club by mutual consent.
