Hamilton Academical have signed Rangers goalkeeper Blair Currie and have not given up hope of bringing striker Stevie May back to Douglas Park.
May has scored 26 goals in 40 appearances while on loan from St Johnstone, where the 20-year-old's contract expires this summer.
The 19-year-old Currie, who had a loan spell with Accies last season, has signed a pre-contract agreement.
Keeper Scott Christie has been transfer listed and Jordan Allan released.
With Kevin Cuthbert holding down a regular first-team slot, fellow former Clyde goalkeeper Allan has been unable to break into the side and is on loan to junior side Bo'ness United.
The 25-year-old Christie had switched to Accies from Bo'ness in August, but the former Stirling Albion goalkeeper has made only three appearances.
Hamilton said: "Scott Christie has been placed on the transfer list at his request as he seeks to play regular football and we have intimated to all clubs that he is available for a nominal fee."
Released along with Allan are 23-year-old defender Jonathan Page, who arrived from Motherwell in January and made 24 appearances for Accies.
Gary Fisher has returned to Kilmarnock after the 20-year-old defender made 32 appearances, while May also heads back to McDiarmid Park.
"In the case of Stevie, though, we are continuing to monitor his situation at the Perth club," said Accies.
Martin Canning, the 31-year-old defender who arrived from Hibernian in 2008, has signed another year's contract with Hamilton.
Also signing on for next season are 21-year-old forward Louis Longridge and Under-20 defenders Matthew Craig and Aldin El Zubaidi.
Re-signing talks are continuing with two midfielders - 21-year-old Ali Crawford and 23-year-old former Stockport County man Jon Routledge.
