Dagenham & Redbridge have completed the signing of former Leyton Orient striker Afolabi Obafemi.

The 18-year-old, who was released by the O's in April, has signed a one-year deal with the League Two club.

Daggers boss Wayne Burnett told the club website: "He's an exciting player and will bring something different to the squad.

"He's still a very young man and still learning his trade. He's worked extremely hard in pre-season."

Obafemi, who began his career in the youth academy at Watford, made his debut for Orient in May 2012, making 10 substitute appearances for the O's last season.
