Mansfield Town: Player-coach Andy Todd exits Field Mill

Mansfield Town player-coach Andy Todd has left the club after not being offered a new playing deal.

The 34-year-old was asked to stay on at Field Mill in a coaching capacity, but has chosen to leave to continue his playing career.

Manager Paul Cox told the club website: "He did a good job for us and never let us down as a player."

Meanwhile the Conference Premier champions are set to sign former Eastwood goalkeeper Ian Deakin, 26.
