AFC Telford maintained their Conference North title hopes, coming from behind to beat Guiseley at the Bucks Head.

After Mike Grogan gave Telford a 20th-minute lead, Adam Boyes equalised on the stroke of half time with a header before Gavin Rothery put the visitors ahead with a 67th-minute penalty.

But Mark Ellis's red card for Guiseley four minutes later changed the game.

Mike Phenix equalised, Shaun Whalley rounded the keeper to score and Simon Grand wrapped it up in the 90th minute.

AFC Telford United Manager Liam Watson told BBC Radio Shropshire: "You look at the teams below you, and this was a must-win game.

"We had the players available to come on and change the game.

"We were fortunate - but long may that continue."

With Conference North leaders North Ferriby United absent on FA Trophy quarter-final duty, Telford closed the gap back to within four points.
