Brentford winger Stuart Dallas has signed a new three-year contract with the Championship newcomers.

The 23-year-old, whose previous deal expired in 2016, scored two goals in 21 appearances for the Bees last season.

The Northern Ireland international joined Brentford in the summer of 2012 from Irish side Crusaders.

"It is important to remember the progress Stuart has made over the last 24 months," Bees boss Mark Warburton told the club website., external

"He has made the difficult transition from part-time football in Northern Ireland to our level at Brentford.

"He has shown substantial progress, demonstrating outstanding desire to move his career forward.

"He had some excellent displays at the end of last season and still has an enormous amount of development potential left."
