Euro 2016 qualifiers: Belgium 'top quality' side - Chris Coleman

Belgium knocked Wales off top spot in their Euro 2016 qualifying group with a 1-0 win in Israel in March

Wales manager Chris Coleman says next opponents Belgium have enough quality players to field two world-class sides.

Belgium top Euro 2016 qualifying Group B with Wales second on goal difference only and the sides meet in Cardiff on 12 June.

Coleman will watch Belgium in action in a friendly against France at the Stade de France on Sunday.

"Belgium are probably the most expensive international squad in the world," Coleman said.

"They've got 11 top-class players and you look at the bench and it's the same level.

"They've got top quality everywhere and I can see why they've organised a friendly.

"That's their path and that's what they want to do. What's good for one [team] is not necessarily good for another."

The Belgians possess a talented squad including PFA Player of the Year Eden Hazard of Chelsea and nine other Premier League players.

They will, however, be without captain Vincent Kompany for the game at Cardiff City Stadium, with the Manchester City defender suspended following his red card against Israel.

Marc Wilmots' side reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and are currently second in Fifa's world rankings.

Wales opted against playing a friendly ahead of Friday's Euro 2016 qualifier at Cardiff City Stadium but held a five-day training camp.

Following a weekend break the players will report for training on Monday for a game which sold out days after Wales' 3-0 win in Israel in March.

Coleman says his side will have nothing to fear against Belgium despite their opponents reaching their highest ever position in the Fifa rankings.

The former Fulham manager has a full squad - apart from injured defenders Ben Davies and James Collins - to choose from.

"I know the team I'm going to start with. I've known it for some time," Coleman added.

"Normally the weekend [before] there are all the games and inevitably there are changes with injuries and whatever.

"But this game's different because of the time of the year."
