Leon Britton (R) has played in every division of the Football League for Swansea City since December 2002

Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has not travelled with the first team for the club's pre-season tour to Germany.

Britton took the decision to stay at home after it emerged that he would not get a lot of game time.

The 32-year-old, who has made 476 appearances and scored 17 goals for the Premier League side, has been linked with a move to America., external

But Swansea have not yet received any offers for Britton.

Manager Garry Monk is happy to keep Britton whose contract expires in July 2017.

But it is thought the club will not stand in his way if the former West Ham and Sheffield United player wants to move elsewhere.

Meanwhile the club are still looking for a young third-choice goalkeeper, but have ended their interest in 18-year-old Barcelona keeper Guillermo Lara.
