Solihull Moors 2-0 Chester

Solihull Moors beat Chester to record their first home win of the season in the National League, despite Zain Westbrooke's second-half sending off.

Oladapo Afolayan fired Solihull ahead from the edge of the box after picking up Westbrooke's pass.

Paul Turnbull had a free-kick well saved by Moors keeper Nathan Vaughan, before Westbrooke was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Wade Joyce.

But Afolayan tapped in his second moments later to secure the victory.

Chester handed a debut to striker Nathan Sheron, 19, who joined the club on a 28-day loan deal from Fleetwood earlier on Tuesday, but he was unable to test Vaughan in the later stages.

The game was rescheduled following the Moors' controversial postponement on the first day of the season, which saw them fined £4,000 and ordered to pay £1,000 in compensation to Chester.
