An injury-time Nahki Wells goal gave Bristol City a dramatic victory at Queens Park Rangers and their third straight away win in the Championship.
Chris Martin's calm finish put the visitors in front just before half-time, before Rangers' Sam McCallum rifled in to level after the restart.
Team-mate Lyndon Dykes missed several chances as QPR dominated possession in search of a winner.
Substitute Wells had the final say as he drove forward on the counter-attack and scored in the 93rd-minute to move Bristol City up to ninth.
There was little to separate the sides early on, with both having encouraging spells without creating clear chances.
Robins captain Tomas Kalas headed over a Matty James corner, before Dykes' header hit the bar from Chris Willock's cross from the left.
The breakthrough came through a brilliant team move. Midfielder Han-Noah Massengo drove through the defence and crossed to Andreas Weimann, who laid the ball off to Martin to fire in.
Rangers piled on the pressure after the break, and found an equaliser when a loose ball broke to McCallum in the box and he gave keeper Daniel Bentley no chance with his close-range strike.
Bentley was the hero moments later, as he palmed away Dykes' shot to prevent the hosts from completing a quick turnaround.
Scotland striker Dykes was again thwarted by the Robins stopper when in acres of space, before Yoann Barbet struck narrowly wide.
QPR had 26 shots in total, with Bristol City having just three efforts on target, but when the hosts' attack broke down, Weimann got his second assist of the day by picking out Wells, who shot powerfully across goalkeeper Seny Dieng to snatch victory.
QPR manager Mark Warburton:
"We have got to be more ruthless as a team. We were dominating possession and they were hanging onto a point.
"That's the Championship, we did the same against them last season, and lost with the same result.
"We recognise that we are creating chances, that is the most important thing, don't lose belief about the direction we are going in."
Bristol City manager Nigel Pearson told BBC Radio Bristol:
"It looked as though we were going to be hanging on towards the end as they applied a lot of pressure.
"We've got some players who were struggling with the heat and dehydration. We played against an exceptionally good side today, who have a lot of quality.
"To snatch a winner and put ourselves into a stronger position, it was very rewarding for the players and great for the fans."
