Harvey Greenslade celebrates scoring Truro City's winning goal

Truro City manager Paul Wotton has hailed the attitude of his side as they beat Chelmsford City 2-1 to claim their first win in nine matches.

City, who had not won since a 2-1 victory at Havant and Waterlooville on 9 September, took the lead through Sam Sanders' 68th-minute header.

Charlie Ruff equalised four minutes later, but Harvey Greenslade blasted in the winner soon after.

City stay in the National League South relegation places despite the win.

They are a point off safety with four games in hand on Eastbourne Borough, who are immediately above them in the table.

"I think the boys deserve a tremendous amount of plaudits and all the accolades they get for today," Wotton told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"I thought their commitment to the cause and their fight, their desire, their belief, all the things that seem to get lost in football nowadays, we had that in abundance.

"To suffer the setback of them equalising very quickly, to go down the other end and score again shows tremendous character, so I'm immensely proud."
