Wales and Leeds United winger Daniel James has been ruled out for four weeks with a hamstring problem.
James, 26, missed Wales’ Nations League games with Turkey and Montenegro earlier this month and Leeds’ Championship win over Hull City on 31 August with the injury.
Leeds boss Daniel Farke says the former Manchester United player will be out until after the October international break.
Wales are back in Nations League action in Iceland on 11 October, before the return fixture against Montenegro in Cardiff three days later.
"Some bad news with Daniel James, he will be out for four weeks so we will expect him back after the next international break,” said Farke.
James’ injury means he will miss Saturday’s meeting with Burnley at Elland Road, as well as trips to Cardiff City, Norwich City and Sunderland, plus the home fixture with Coventry City.
Leeds hope he will be fit to return when they face Sheffield United on 18 October.
James has made three appearances so far this season, scoring once.
