  4. Wharton, Sarr and Nketiah unavailablepublished at 15:03 BST 12 September

Crystal Palace v Sunderland (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner gave an update on player injuries ahead of Saturday's game against Sunderland: "Fortunately, all the international players came back healthy and fit so that everybody of them is available. The injured players are progressing very well.

"At the moment it looks like Adam Wharton, Ismaila Sarr and Eddie Nketiah are available at least against Liverpool, so in two weeks.

"Tomorrow none of them are available. Millwall [EFL Cup], none of them is available, maybe Adam and Eddie have a chance for West Ham.

“All the new signings will be in the squad tomorrow. There is a good chance that Yeremy Pino will make his starting debut for Crystal Palace tomorrow.

"He just needed to rest during the international break. The first week of the international break he didn't train. He had a small injury from his last game at Villarreal. But then he started preparing on Monday."

  5. Guehi is '100% focused'published at 15:02 BST 12 September

Crystal Palace v Sunderland (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Crystal Palace

More from Oliver Glasner on the fallout from Marc Guehi's failed move to Liverpool:

"I didn't have to threaten anybody. There were no bad tensions between the chairman and myself. It was really just a discussion about sports, and he decided against the money and for the sporting perspective of Crystal Palace. So again, big credit to the chairman, and the same big credit to Marc, who handled it very well.

"We [Guwhi] talked on deadline day. We talked the day after deadline day, when he was already in the England camp and was always very honest. Everybody could see how he played for England, that he's 100% focused, the same here.

"And it was written [in media] that he steps back as our captain. Nothing true. He will be our captain as long as he's here, because he's just such a great player and such a great personality and so much noise.

    "That is the truth."

  6. 'I never threatened to leave' - Glasnerpublished at 14:59 BST 12 September

Crystal Palace v Sunderland (Sat, 15:00BST)

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner discusses deadline day after Marc Guehi's failed £35m Liverpool transfer spurred on rumours of tension between Glasner and his chairman Steve Parish: "I never threatened to leave the club, never.

"At the end of many discussions it was the chairman who asked me 'Oliver, do you think we can manage the season when we sell Marc?' I said 'honestly we can't manage it in the short-term'

"If we buy a 19 year old, fantastic player with about 1000 minutes in the league and sell our captain with about 15,000 minutes in the Premier League. I think we can't manage it short term. And if then we have three centre-backs and with our schedule, and if we have an injury in the back three. I think it's very, very risky.

"If you want this scenario for Crystal Palace and you are fine with it. Sell Marc, if you don't want to have this, then we have to keep him. And then he decided we keep him."

  7. Glasner news conferencepublished at 14:58 BST 12 September

Marc Guehi's failed move from Crystal Palace to Liverpool was one of the biggest talking points of deadline day.

Oliver Glasner has been speaking about it...

  8. Emery brushes off Martinez talkpublished at 14:55 BST 12 September

Everton v Aston Villa (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Nick Mashiter
    BBC Sport football news reporter

Unai Emery brushed off any issues with Emi Martinez after he stayed at Aston Villa.

The World Cup winning goalkeeper remained at Aston Villa despite wanting a move to Manchester United.

That never materialised as United brought in signing Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp instead.

Martinez missed the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace because of the transfer speculation before the deadline but is available for Saturday's Premier League trip to Everton.

  9. 'Summer signings are in different circumstances'published at 14:53 BST 12 September

Everton v Aston Villa (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery has provided a squad news update ahead of Saturday's match.

He says Jadon Sancho, Harvey Elliott and Victor Lindelof will be in the squad this weekend but are all in "different circumstances": "Sancho was not training with the group and physically he will need time. Harvey was training and playing consistently with Liverpool and is more or less fit. Lindelof was training individually and he is available to be with us but he will need time to know us tactically."

Elsewhere in the squad, Emery added: "Matty Cash is available. We have some players injured who are close, [Andres] Garcia, [Boubacar] Kamara and [Amadou] Onana. Ross Barkley has a personal issue and I think he will come back and be available soon, but not yet."

  10. 'Martinez's commitment to Aston Villa is massive'published at 14:50 BST 12 September

Everton v Aston Villa (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery was asked about Emiliano Martinez, who was linked with a move to Manchester United right up until transfer deadline day: "Everything happens with players, maybe staying, maybe they were close to leaving, maybe other players were close to others or to join us. It's normal, I understand it completely, everything.

"Him staying here is good news, I am so happy. He is the best goalkeeper in the world, his commitment to Aston Villa is massive. He is always training to get his best, respecting Aston Villa.

"Some circumstances happen. Everyone is happy, the energy today was very good. Emi is happy and now he knows his challenge is with Aston Villa and his national team."

  11. Nelson, Kayode and Janelt available for Chelsea visitpublished at 14:47 BST 12 September

Brentford v Chelsea (Sat, 20:00 BST)

    Brentford

Brentford boss Keith Andrews confirmed deadline day signing from Arsenal Reiss Nelson will feature on Saturday:

"Reiss will be involved. He’s a type of player we don’t really have on that side of the pitch; a dribbler, technically very good and he complements what we have in Kevin Schade, [Igor] Thiago, Fabio [Carvalho], [Mikkel] Damsgaard and Dango [Ouattara].

"He’s slotted in seamlessly to the group."

Midfielder Vitaly Janelt - who has not featured since April due to a heel issue - is available for selection after featuring for the B team on Tuesday while Michael Kayode has recovered from an illness suffered while on international duty with Italy under-21s

Andrews also confirmed Paris Maghoma is still building fitness as he recovers from a hamstring injury and Gustavo Nunes will return to team training next week.

Brentford v Chelsea (Sat, 20:00 BST)

    Brentford

Brentford boss Keith Andrews on Yoane Wissa's Deadline Day move to Newcastle:

"Understanding of it I would say, more than anything.

"All along I was very much I expected Yoane to stay. Up until the very last press conference before we played Sunderland it was nowhere near a move.

"That's pretty much where it was and I wanted Yoane to stay.

"I didn't really want to lose that amount of goals out of the building but at the same time I was very understanding of the way this club works and the medium to long-term future of the club is very important."

"Randal hasn't played since the Club World Cup and didn't really train at PSG so he is not as fit as Xavi."
