GOAL! Hearts 0-1 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-2)published at 21:21 BST 29 August 2024

    Lukas Cerv

Just as Hearts are starting to look dangerous, Plzen score and probably kill the tie.

They go down the right, it's squared for Matej Vydra who scalffs his shot. It's laid back to Cerv on the edge of the box and he strokes the ball into the bottom corner.

How many times have we seen Scottish clubs concede in Europe just as they're starting to dominate?!

Silky stuff from Kenneth Vargas, as he nutmegs Vaclav Jemelka and draws the foul.

The free kick is swung in, but Plzen head away.

Ooft, another Gerald Taylor cross, for a moment, looks like it might drop on target.

But it's the wrong side of the post.

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:51 BST 29 August 2024

Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

    Scottish football, man.

A slight delay in restarting as a hole in the net needs to be repaired.

  16. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:49 BST 29 August 2024

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Copenhagen (agg 1-3)

Big chance as Matty Kennedy sweeps a low cross in, and David Watson goes down under pressure.

The referee wags his finger at the midfielder. I think he's going down before the contact is made.

I doubt VAR will have a long look at that.

  17. Hearts 'will be pleased' at break - Shanklandpublished at 20:45 BST 29 August 2024

HT: Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland tells BBC Scotland: "The boys will be pleased. The important thing is we haven't lost a goal.

"Hopefully we can sustain our attacks a wee bit better and make chances in the second half.

"Kenneth [Vargas'] pace is dangerous on the counter."

HT: Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

    Shelley Kerr

Hearts haven't had any momentum in the game.

It's been tough in terms of creating chances, and it's because they haven't had any dominant possession in the game.

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Copenhagen (agg 1-3)

Nathan Trott leaves one on Stuart Findlay as he collects a free-kick into the box. It caused a bit of a rammy but tempers have calmed.

Now, here's some changes. Bobby Wales and Liam Polworth are on. Marley Watkins and Joe Wright are off.

  20. 'Hearts going too long'published at 20:39 BST 29 August 2024

HT: Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

    Neil McCann
Former Hearts winger on BBC Sportscene

Hearts are going too long, too often. They are vacating the midfield, but when it goes long there is nobody to play off of.

We said Hearts needed a fast start but they haven't had it, which has allowed Plzen to settle.
