    Kilmarnock 1-1 Copenhagen (agg 1-3)

Lukas Lerager whips a powerful cross in, Mohamed Elyounoussi stoops and plants his header on to the bar.

The Danes have turned it on. They are passing with slick intent and it looks impossible for Kilmarnock to hold the ball.

HT: Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

Gerald Taylor burst on to the scene at Hearts with his brilliant performance against Rangers on the opening day.

It's fair to say he's struggled since, but tonight he's probably been their best player.

  4. HALF-TIME Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)published at 20:33 British Summer Time 29 August 2024

    It's as you were.

It's still all to play for.

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:32 British Summer Time 29 August 2024

Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

    What a block.

Gerald Taylor has just kept Hearts in this tie. It's a fast break from Plzen and it's squared to Daniel Vasulin at the back post.

He takes an age to sort his feet out, and it allows Taylor to divert his goal-bound shot over the bar.

From the resulting corner, Vasulin flashes a header wide.

Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

Viktoria Plzen have had a couple of opportunities in the last few minutes.

Stephen Kingsley has to block Daniel Vasulin's effort from inside the box, and before that Jorge Grant got in the way of Sampson Dweh's fierce drive.

GOAL! Kilmarnock 1-1 Copenhagen (agg 1-3)published at 20:30 British Summer Time 29 August 2024

    Lewis Mayo (own goal)

    Ach.

That might be that. A long diagonal ball finds Elias Achouri, and his cross ball is turned into the net by Lewis Mayo.

If he hadn't got a toe to it, Orri Oskarsson would have tapped in.

    Kilmarnock 1-0 Copenhagen (agg 1-2)

Brilliant play from Danny Armstrong wins the foul from Denis Vavra.

The Copenhagen defence look really frustrated. They're being bullied by Kyle Vassell and jinked past by Armstrong.

The set-piece is dealt with... this time.

The keeper doesn't cover himself in glory.

It isn't the easiest chance for Vargas and he just gets under it too much.

  10. CLOSE!published at 20:23 British Summer Time 29 August 2024

Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

    Hearts go close.

Marian Tvrdon, the Plzen goalkeeper, inexplicably drops a corner kick. It's hooked back by Liam Boyce and, on the half volley, Kenneth Vargas lashes the ball just over the bar.

It wasn't an easy chance, but it needed a bit more composure.

  11. 'No clear game plan'published at 20:22 British Summer Time 29 August 2024

Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

    Michael Stewart

Just feel a level of frustration at Tynecastle.

This Plzen side are there for the taking but it doesn't look like Hearts have a clear game plan on how to hurt them.

  12. 'No end product'published at 20:16 British Summer Time 29 August 2024

Hearts 0-0 Viktoria Plzen (agg 0-1)

    Michael Stewart

The end product is sorely lacking for Hearts.

    That was a real opportunity.

    That's Hearts' best chance.

Gerald Taylor floats a brilliant cross to the back post and Kenneth Vargas has to either steer the ball on target or put it across for Liam Boyce to tap in.

He does neither and it sails away.

  14. Postpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 29 August 2024

    Kilmarnock 1-0 Copenhagen (agg 1-2)

Kilmarnock resume by breaking forward and Lukas Lerager goes into the book for hauling down Kyle Vassell.

The free-kick is launched forward, with the ball breaking for Vassell. He fires low and Nathan Trott makes a good save.

Another set-piece that makes Copenhagen look wobbly at the back.

Brief pause at Rugby Park for an issue with VAR - or perhaps it's the referee's mic?

Maybe Derek McInnes pulled the plug.

    Anyway, we're back.

Jorge Grant has to do better there. Stephen Kingsley won a free kick in a handy position, but Grant sends it too deep and it's comfortable for the Plzen goalkeeper.
