Some slack passing by the home defence allows Falkirk to drive forward and only a last-gasp challenge by McGowan denies Agyeman a clear sight of the target. Livingston very sloppy in possession.

It's honours even at the break with neither Livingston or Falkirk doing enough to find their way to goal.

And if the scoreline remains as it is after 90 minutes it may be one where both managers will be content!

Stephen Kelly is the first person to find his way into the notebook of referee Nick Walsh after a thumping tackle on Liam Henderson.

The Falkirk midfielder certainly felt that one!

    Livingston 0-0 Falkirk

A solo run and shot from Agyeman has Livingston keeper Jerome Prior at full stretch to tip the ball away for a corner. Best effort so far from Falkirk.

    Livingston 0-0 Falkirk

    Brian McLauchlin

It’s certainly not been a classic opening 30 minutes but that's hardly surprising given what's at stake.

Montano has looked the brightest of the home players with a couple of close efforts.

For Falkirk, the pace of Agyeman is causing concern for the Livingston defence but so far they have held firm.
