Liverpool boss Matt Beard speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live after a disappointing performance against Crystal Palace: "We were lucky to get that point, to be honest. I'm disappointed with the whole performance. I think our DNA is work rate, being aggressive and we were so passive today with and without the ball.

"I thought Palace wanted it more than us, we were pulling out of tackles. From that front, we need to get to the bottom of why that is because it's super frustrating. That's not the marker for this team which has been so good for three years now. We're not losing games, we've lost to Manchester City and everyone has lost to Manchester City.

"I can't put my finger on that performance. It reminded me of the Leicester FA Cup quarter-final a little bit last year. I don't know, we just seemed flat today.

"We need to highlight in the debrief people pulling out of tackles. We need to highlight people not recovering or stretching because it can't happen. We have to make sure the players are aware of what's happened but we've still got plenty to do."

    Leicester 1-0 Everton

We've not seen much of Melissa Lawley since she came on.

Her deflected cross led to a precious equaliser against West Ham last weekend.

Oh how her side could do with a similar moment of inspiration here.

    West Ham 0-1 Arsenal

Better from West Ham, a ball over the top sets up a three on three but Emma Harries' ball to Seraina Piubel is a yard too strong. Forced wide, she can then only tee up Katrina Gorry for a long-range shot that she scuffs across goal and wide.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 20 October

    Leicester 1-0 Everton

Another change for the hosts as Deanne Rose comes off to warm applause after an outstanding display on her first start of the season.

Asmita Ale comes on for the final 15 minutes plus stoppage time.

    Leicester 1-0 Everton

Leicester are looking to kill this one off by taking advantage of the acres of space that they seem to be getting on the counter.

Hannah Cain gets into the box but her shot is too tame to trouble Courtney Brosnan.

  6. Postpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 20 October

    West Ham 0-1 Arsenal

Arsenal are heading fifth as it stands - but they'd still be five points behind early leaders Manchester City. It's imperative they don't drop points here.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 20 October

    Leicester 1-0 Everton

Groans and boos from the home crowd as Everton are awarded a free kick for a foul on Justine Vanhaevermaet. Nicole Momiki's name goes into the referee's notebook.

Deanne Rose had been bundled to the floor in similar circumstances moments earlier in a challenge that went unpunished.

That's a first WSL goal for Mariona Caldentey, who arrived in the summer from Barcelona. She's won the World Cup, the Champions League three times and the top flight in Spain six times and will be out for more silverware in north London.

    Leicester 1-0 Everton

Changes all around as we hit the 65th minute mark.

Melissa Lawley, whose cross was deflected in for the equaliser against West Ham last week, comes for Everton on to replace Karoline Olesen.

Leicester introduce Julie Thibaud for Saori Takarada. Shana Chossenotte also makes way after picking up a knock, being replaced by Hannah Cain.

Arsenal have had two thirds of the ball since the restart, a good ball in to the middle spells danger but Rosa Kafaji is pinged for pushing her marker at the far post. West Ham can reset.

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:22 British Summer Time 20 October

    Leicester 1-0 Everton

Toni Payne produces some more magic on the wing to fashion a low, driven cross into the six yard box.

Veatriki Sarri comes steaming into the middle to meet it but her touch can only guide the ball wide of the far post. Agonisingly close.

  16. Postpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 20 October

    Leicester 1-0 Everton

Toni Payne has certainly had an impact since she came on at half time. All of Everton's best play is going through her at the minute.

She beats her defender on the right wing before crossing into the middle but again Janina Leitzig is on hand to intercept it.

  17. Postpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 20 October

    Leicester 1-0 Everton

Excellent wide play from Sara Holmgaard results in a fizzing cross into the middle, but Toni Payne is unable to jump high enough to nod it towards goal.

The visitors then fire a corner into the middle forcing Janina Leitzig to punch the ball clear of danger.

This is much better from Everton.
