THE LEAGUE ONE POINTS RECORD HAS BEEN BROKEN!

You might be unsurprised to learn that the instruction to fans not to bound across the pitch has not been heeded.

The rest of the stands are sitting joyous but patiently as they await the trophy presentation for a season that has delivered them so much, not less hope that they can really mount a challenge during their return to the Championship in the summer.

Birmingham City can finally call this season record-breaking and they've still got an EFL record of 106 points to hunt with two games to go. Wow.

As Richard says, Reading's EFL record of 106 is just a point away and after a performance like this, you'd back Birmingham to surpass it with two games left to go.

Before then though, let's not forget Birmingham City will already have a lot to celebrate come the final whistle.

Their promotion, winning the title - both happened outside of St Andrew's.

Today, their final home match of the season, they will be cheering a new League One record with 105 points.

Tomoki Iwata then tries his luck when he picks up the clearance but hits it off-target.
