We will adapt some players because we don’t have the right profiles as this squad was set up for a different system. When you see the team on Sunday, it will be similar players, but in the game it will be different."

"Football is different nowadays, I think I am the right person for this moment. I am a young guy and I try to use this to help my players. Their young guys were [Frank] Lampard and these kind of players, nowadays it's so much different. I think I'm right for now."

"Unfortunately it’s going to be a few months. We have to see how he reacts post-surgery."

Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and Riccardo Calafiori have all recovered and are available for Saturday's game.

"They've had their first session today and are very good," said Arteta.

  19. Spurs 'will accept that' if they don't win Bentancur appealpublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November

Man City v Tottenham (Sat, 17:30 GMT)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou on appealing Rodrigo Bentancur's ban: "I couldn't care less who we're playing against, it's worth it because we feel we still have a judicial process. That's why appeals are there. We're not going outside the jurisdiction, we're not trying to create something that's not available to us. Our view was that we think it was harsh, we think it should have been the minimum, and we'll go through that process. If not, then we will accept that."

  20. 'People want to burn people to the stake these days'published at 13:49 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November

Man City v Tottenham (Sat, 17:30 GMT)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou on mixed messages of Rodrigo Bentancur's charge and Spurs' appeal: "I'm not interested in looks and whatever. I've said all along, he's made a mistake, we've accepted that he has made a mistake. We'll accept whatever penalty comes our way. We believe the first one (ban) was harsh and we've appealed that, which I think is our right. That's the whole process.

"Even if you look at the punishment, it's at the lower end of the scale. So even the people who have all the information, have adjudicated it that way. I get that people want to burn people to the stake these days, but as I keep saying, part of this process, if you want a real sort of education, is to understand. When somebody makes a mistake and they pay a penalty, part of that is education and hopefully treating him in a way that people see is the way forward.

"Whether it is Rodrigo or anyone else, I'm old enough in life, I've made bigger mistakes than that mate, but I was allowed to learn from it. Hopefully I'm a better human being because of that."
