  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:32 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

The ball is back rolling at Joie Stadium.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:32 BST 12 September

    HT: Man City 0-1 Brighton

We're hearing that Brighton are making a swap at the interval.

Goalscorer Fran Kirby is off for Nadine Noordam in midfield.

Here's hoping that's a tactical switch and not an injury.

  3. Super Fran making the differencepublished at 20:27 BST 12 September

    HT: Man City 0-1 Brighton

Fran Kirby was here, there and everywhere for Brighton in that first half.

She made the most chances of any Seagulls player (2) as well as grabbing the all important goal that broke the deadlock.

    Super Fran indeed.

  4. Postpublished at 20:25 BST 12 September

    HT: West Ham 1-1 Arsenal

For all of their dominance Arsenal have managed just the one shot on goal. That likely has more to do with West Ham's impressive defending.

  5. Postpublished at 20:20 BST 12 September

    HT: Man City 0-1 Brighton

Man City and Brighton registered a combined xG of 1.07 in that first half.

Not a Friday night thriller so far that's for sure.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:20 BST 12 September

    West Ham 1-1 Arsenal

One last chance before the break as Alessia Russo's shot inside the box is blocked.

West Ham then defend the corner to go in level at half time.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:17 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

The visitors hold a deserved one goal lead at the break.

  8. CLOSE!published at 20:17 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

A brilliant sweeping move from City almost brings about the leveller.

Imane Beney and Laura Blinkilde Brown combine in the centre of the pitch before Vivianne Miedema sets off running into the left channel.

With options limited she takes the shot on herself but it's deflected over the top.

  9. Postpublished at 20:16 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

Greenwood floats it towards the back post with Gracie Prior trying to nod it on for Bunny Shaw but it's over the forward's head and the chance is lost.

  10. 'West Ham do set up well'published at 20:15 BST 12 September

    West Ham 1-1 Arsenal

    Emma Byrne
Former Arsenal and Brighton goalkeeper on Sky Sports

West Ham do set up well. They are organised and they do really well in defensive structures, but their struggles come when they get the ball and in how they keep the ball.

You can see what they are trying to do. They are trying to play it out into the wide areas and get Verena Hanshaw on the ball, which they did last week against Tottenham, but it's just about what the phase after that is.

  11. Postpublished at 20:15 BST 12 September

    West Ham 1-1 Arsenal

Arsenal may have dominated but West Ham have defended very well. They just need to hold out the visitors for a few more minutes.

  12. Postpublished at 20:14 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

Free kick to City wide right of the box just before the break.

Skipper Alex Greenwood and midfield maestro Yui Hasegawa stand over it.

  13. Postpublished at 20:12 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

City have had just one, yes one shot on target in the opening 40 minutes.

Simply not good enough for a side with so much attacking quality.

  14. Postpublished at 20:12 BST 12 September

    West Ham 1-1 Arsenal

Good news for Arsenal because Beth Mead is OK to continue.

Four minutes to go until the break and West Ham will be delighted if they can get in level.

  15. 'Same old story for Man City'published at 20:11 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

    Courtney Sweetman-Kirk
Ex-Sheffield United forward on Sky Sports

From a Brighton perspective Vidosic will be absolutely delighted with how his team played. They went out, pressed, got the goal. They created more chances and stuck their bodies on the line when needed. For Man City it's about taking chances. Same old story, not clinical enough.

  16. Postpublished at 20:11 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

City keeper Khiara Keating mixes it up by playing long into the feet of Lauren Hemp in the Brighton half, she in turn tries to reverse it into the path of Vivianne Miedema but it just gets away from her.

    Nice idea though.

I'm surprised the Hammers managed to keep hold of Martinez after her form last season. It will be interesting to see if she does as well now that other teams know what she's about.

  18. Postpublished at 20:10 BST 12 September

    West Ham 1-1 Arsenal

Beth Mead is hurt after a tangle with Viviane Asseyi.

Arsenal fans will be willing Mead to be fine as she has run the show so far tonight.

  19. 'Brighton want that second goal'published at 20:10 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

    Courtney Sweetman-Kirk
Ex-Sheffield United forward on Sky Sports

Brighton are not settling. They keep going, they want that second goal. Agyemang just can't quite get there, but the pressure is immense from Brighton.

  20. CLOSE!published at 20:09 BST 12 September

    Man City 0-1 Brighton

The Brighton set piece comes to nothing but they recycle the play well and almost grab their second goal.

Fran Kirby's looped cross to the back post is cushioned back into the middle by Marisa Olislagers but it drifts inches over the head of an unmarked Michelle Agyemang.

That could and perhaps should have been 2-0 to the Seagulls.
