Beto barely got a look-in under Sean Dyche and instantly shows what the side have been missing out on.

A well-taken goal by the Portuguese frontman, with caretaker boss Seamus Coleman enjoying that goal in the dugout.

    He looks a good prospect.

    Beto (42 mins)

We've got the first post-Sean Dyche era goal! Harrison Armstrong slips the ball through for Beto, he rounds Nicholas Bilokapic and slots into an open goal. Easy as you like.

Lovely little celebration from Seamus Coleman and a more relaxed Leighton Baines on the sideline.

Beto should be doing better with that header. He has got to find the corners.

It was a lovely ball in.

  8. Postpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January

Beto rises highest to the meet the ball into the box but his header is straight at Nicholas Bilokapic. Seamus Coleman on the sideline was jumping with Beto and heading it in himself!

Spare a thought for father and son Ashley and Tyler Young, sitting on the benches tonight watching this game.

They could have done that together while snuggled up at home - and been much warmer for it.

Nearly a disaster for Watford goalkeeper Jonathan Bond. He dashes out of his penalty area, but the ball bounces off his knees, straight to Rodrigo Muniz.

The striker, with one goal to his name already, tries his luck, but Bond manages to get his body in the way and block the strike.

Cian Ashford, Cardiff City's goalscorer, almost nabs as second as he gets across his defender at the near post.

He just can't quite get the right connection to divert it beyond the keeper.

At the other end Rhian Brewster has a low shot saved. Better.

I want to say how short minded it was not to thank Sean and his team for all he had done. It's just not right to airbrush him out of the picture as though Sean didn't exist. Deplorable and shameful.

It is going to be one of the best goals of the FA Cup third round and what a way to draw Watford level.

Rocco Vata picks up the ball just inside the Fulham half, he runs at the home defence and lets fly from 30 yards with the ball zooming past a diving Steven Benda.

    Fulham 1-0 Watford

Twenty-year-old Watford midfielder Pierre Dwomoh would have been keen to show what he could do for the Hornets, but his match ends in the first half as he appeared to have suffered an injury to his left hamstring.

He tried to run it off, but the change is made and on comes Imran Louza.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January

    Sheffield United 0-1 Cardiff City

Ironic cheers from the home fans as Cardiff's Joel Bagan fires over after a neat one-two.

Sheffield United defender Rhys Norrington Davies, meanwhile, who was down clutching his leg shortly after half-time, has had to go off.

He's replaced by Jack Robinson. Not good for the Blades.
