    Marc Guehibecame former Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira's third signing at Selhurst Park in 2021 after coming through Chelsea's youth system.

    In his four years at the South London club Guehi has made 134 appearances, captained the side and scored 10 goals.

    The 24-year-old has achieved 22 caps for England, breaking into former England manager Gareth Southgate's squad last year.

    Palace turned down four bids from Newcastle for Guehi in the summer, with the final offer worth up to £65m.

    They recently lost Wesley Fofana to a substantial hamstring injury, which according to manager Enzo Maresca could rule him out for the season.

    However, those close to Fofana insist they expect him to play again within a much shorter period.

    Chelsea are interested in re-signing Crystal Palace and England defender Marc Guehi.

    The Blues are understood to have Guehi, 24, on a list of defensive targets, despite selling him to Palace for £18m in 2021 - before Chelsea were taken over by current owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.

    Palace have yet to receive official contact from Chelsea but Guehi's representatives are aware of interest from his former club.

    Guehi has 18 months left on his contract, having signed a five-year deal when joining Palace.

    Criticism of Trent's performance in my view is extremely unfair. I think more focus should be on Slot's decision making. It was clear Utd were targeting that side. Perhaps substituting Diaz with Endo to target Bruno and allow Jones to player higher might have been an option.

    Julio Soler will swap Buenos Aires for Bournemouth after the Argentine defender became the Premier League club's latest signing.

    Born in Paraguay, Soler is an Argentina Under-23 international and played all four games for Javier Mascherano's side in their run to the quarter-finals of the 2024 Olympics.

    The left-back, who has previously captained his nation at the Under-20 level, was called up to the senior team for the World Cup qualifiers in October 2024, but is yet to earn his first international cap.

    Soler signed for Argentine club Lanus as a nine-year-old and made 58 appearances for them after making his debut in 2022.

    Bournemouth have completed the signing of 19-year-old full-back Julio Soler for an undisclosed fee.

    The Argentina youth international arrives from Primera Division outfit Lanss and has signed a long-term deal at the Vitality Stadium.

    He becomes Bournemouth's second senior signing of the window following the arrival of Matai Akinmboni.

    Soler started every group game for Argentina at last summer's Olympic Games in Paris, before receiving his first senior squad call-up in October 2024.
