Oh that's a very silly yellow card to pick up. Missy Goodwin doesn't back off enough from the free kick and goes into the book for it.

  4. 'Tottenham need to be tidier in possession'published at 15:23 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on BBC Two

Tottenham need to be a lot tidier in their possession. I'm really glad Liverpool have stuck to their game, they have been really direct.

    Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

Not the best start to the half for the home side.

Ashleigh Neville looks to pick out a long pass to Jess Naz but instead plays the ball straight out of play.

    Leicester City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Spot of bother here for Leicester keeper Janina Leitzig.

  8. 'We need to be more physical'published at 15:21 British Summer Time 6 October

    HT: Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham's Amy James-Turner, who is currently injured, speaking to BBC Two: "We know what to expect against a Liverpool team, we struggled against them last year. We haven't won as many first and second balls and hopefully, we can be better than that in the second half."

On the first half: "Out of possession will be a talking point. We know they've got big, physical players. If we're not winning the first balls, we have to be winning the seconds. A talking point against Villa was more making it more transitional. We need to keep it going through the thirds and be more physical too."

On manager Robert Vilahamn: "He's quite a chilled out guy, the girls respond to him well. He won't be getting too frustrated, he likes to give the team, freedom. He's been a breath of fresh air."

    HT: Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

Spurs defender Amy James-Turner spoke to BBC Two just now and said the side need to make the game "more transitional."

Given the speed and skill they have in their attacking ranks, Hayley Raso and Jess Naz to name a few, that seems like their best option.

  10. Park had 'slight knock'published at 15:21 British Summer Time 6 October

FT: Man City 2-0 West Ham

    Emma Sanders
BBC Sport women’s football news reporter at Joie Stadium

Gareth Taylor says England international Jess Park was left out as a precaution due to a slight knock picked up in training. She has been supporting the City team at Joie Stadium today instead.

One touch by Frida Maanum before firing towards the net.

It sails straight into the arms of Courtney Brosnan.

  14. 'England is capable of scoring goals'published at 15:18 British Summer Time 6 October

    HT: Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on BBC Two

Beth England is a player who is capable of scoring goals. Her strength is getting into one v one positions and taking players on but she has not been doing that much recently.

  15. Postpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 6 October

    Leicester City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Much of this game has been played in Leicester City's half. Crystal Palace haven't seen a great deal of the ball but they've been well organised and pegged the Foxes back, jumping on any loose ball where they can.

This time it's My Cato who has a go from range but can't get her effort on target.

  16. 'Spurs need to simplify the game more'published at 15:17 British Summer Time 6 October

    HT: Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

    Anita Asante
Former England defender on BBC Two

I think Spurs need to simplify the game a bit more, get into the wide areas. Either combining and getting crosses into the box or more combination play.

  17. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 6 October

    HT: Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

Let's turn our attention to hosts Tottenham.

60% possession but only 0.02 XG, 1 shot (which didn't come until the sixth minute of stoppage time), and 0 shots on target.

What does Robert Vilahamn do to turn the tide in this one?

  18. Postpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 6 October

Surely Jonas Eidevall has to start thinking about changes.

It's not working for Arsenal. He needs to change something.

  19. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 6 October

    Arsenal 0-0 Everton

Everton have lost on their last 14 visits to Arsenal in all competitions.

Will they take a point back to Merseyside today?

They look well organised and disciplined.

  20. Postpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 6 October

    HT: Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

The Liverpool boss must be scratching his head as to why his side seem unable to capitalise on leads so far this season.

After the opener they had four clear attempts at target but didn't get another goal.

Last week once they had taken the lead at West Ham they registered a further ten shots at goal before the Hammers equalised on the 86th minute.
