Ruby Mace gives the ball away in her own half and Katie Stengel drives forward then opts for the shot from distance but it fires just wide.

Palace's best chance of the game so far.

  2. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 6 October

    Leicester City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Neither of these sides look entirely comfortable on the ball. They're both putting each other under a lot of pressure.

Leicester are trying to play it out from the back but so far it's not worked out for them and they've been pretty hemmed in by the Crystal Palace defence.

  3. 'Beard is not happy'published at 15:11 British Summer Time 6 October

    HT: Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC Two

Matt Beard is not happy. Liverpool have had the chances to put this game to bed. The second half is going to be different, Beard knows its going to be harder in the second half.

    Arsenal 0-0 Everton

'Arsenal, Arsenal' roar the home fans inside the Emirates as Frida Maanum has another attempt blocked inside the box.

Then Beth Mead lobs it into the penalty area but it is mopped up by Everton's defence.

  5. 'Intriguing'published at 15:09 British Summer Time 6 October

    HT: Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on BBC Two

A little bit intriguing. These two teams coming up against each other is competitive. For all Spurs' possession, they haven't had a shot on goal, Liverpool have had more chances and they will be the happier of the two.

  6. Postpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 6 October

    Arsenal 0-0 Everton

Still no sign of an Arsenal goal.

The hosts are struggling in the final third as Everton's defence soak up everything that is thrown at them.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 6 October

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:07 British Summer Time 6 October

    Leicester City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Noemie Mouchon steals the ball away from a Crystal Palace defender and threads it through for the onrushing Jutta Rantala but Shae Yanez comes out of her goal and does enough to put the Leicester striker off.

If there's anyone you want a chance like that to fall to it's Rantala but her effort goes wide.

  9. Postpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

Jess Naz and Amanda Nilden combine well down the left hand side to earn another corner for Tottenham.

Again the home side fail to make the first contact on the ball in the box, a couple of passes bounce around the D and Nilden's wayward effort brings the move to a disappointing close.

  10. Postpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 6 October

    Leicester City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace win a corner early on in this one. They have struggled to create chances in the league so far so good set pieces are a must.

    This corner comes to nothing.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 6 October

    Arsenal 0-0 Everton

Everton make a change at the start of the second half. Elise Stenevik has been replaced by Heather Payne. That has got to be an injury to Stenevik who had a decent first half.

  12. Postpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

An odd attempt at a back pass from Taylor Hinds towards her keeper Rachel Laws presents Tottenham with a corner.

Spurs can't make the most of it though and they end up playing the ball all the way back to stopper Becky Spencer.

  13. 'It was going to take something special from there'published at 15:02 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC Two

That just came straight off the training pitch from Liverpool, but it was going to take something special to beat Becky Spencer from that far out, especially with the amount of bodies in front of her.

  14. Postpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool set a free kick back to Olivia Smith 30 yards out from goal and the forward tries her luck.

She doesn't catch the shot well at all though and the effort lands well wide of the target.

Given the numerous injury stoppages it's no surprise that we'll have seven minutes of added time to end the half.

Off we go at the King Power Stadium. Both teams will have identified this as a game where they must pick up points.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 14:58 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

Half a shout for handball from the home fans as Hayley Raso's cross hits Jasmine Matthews in the box.

Replays clearly show the ball hitting the defender in the stomach. No chance that's given as a spot kick.

  19. Postpublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool are still looking the more threatening side, although their energy going forward has stalled somewhat.

Olivia Smith tricks her way past Amanda Nilden on the right but almost runs out of room as she approaches the box, hitting a weak effort at the target.
