    Dynamo Kyiv 0-1 Crystal Palace

A change for Palace as Eddie Nketiah, who scored a late winner against Liverpool, comes on to replace Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Unless he's picked up a knock, you'd think Mateta coming off was Oliver Glasner already trying to save him for Everton away in the Premier League on Sunday.

Once Crystal Palace scored the first, the game opened up and Kyiv had to come out a little bit. It feels like there will be more goals in the second half.

These are the half-times in the early kick-offs in the Conference League matches. A great half of football if you are supporting Lausanne, Lech Poznan or Zrinjski, not so much if Breidablik, Rapid Vienna or Lincoln Red Imps are your chosen outfit.

It is all going to plan at the moment for Crystal Palace and if they are to hang on to the three points in Poland they may well need a strong defensive performance.

  9. 'Mateta went a fraction early'published at 18:36 BST

It looked like Jean-Philippe Mateta went a fraction early. The Dynamo Kyiv players did well stepping up and forcing Mateta offside.

You can't knock Daichi Kamada. One trick too many. When he dropped inside he should have hit it a yard earlier.

    Dynamo Kyiv 0-1 Crystal Palace

Jean-Philippe Mateta races through and with only the goalkeeper to beat can only send a strike over the top. He was probably offside anyway so it wouldn't have counted.

Moments later Daichi Kamada with a lovely run to get past two players but his shot hits a defender to wipe out any power and make it a routine save.

  11. 'Brilliant pass from Wharton'published at 45+1 mins

    Good save.

It was a brilliant pass from Adam Wharton. A 20-yard diagonal, the weight was perfect.

You would have fancied Borna Sosa from there.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 44 mins

    Dynamo Kyiv 0-1 Crystal Palace

Almost two, just before half-time. Adam Wharton with a lovely 20-yard diagonal pass and Borna Sosa is sliding in and attacks the ball, but Kyiv goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret does really well to get his body in the way and block the attempt.

A booking for Will Hughes, sliding in and catching an ankle. That's his fifth booking of the season - three in the Premier League, one in the League Cup and now one in the Conference League.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 37 mins

    Dynamo Kyiv 0-1 Crystal Palace

Dynamo Kyiv finally make a change as Taras Mykhavko, who sustained an injury in a challenge with Maxence Lacroix and was off the pitch when the Eagles scored, has now been replaced by Nazar Voloshyn.

What a header. We talked about the power move – 11 vs 10 and Crystal Palace have got their reward.

Lovely flighted ball from Yeremy Pino, but this is a high-tariff finish.

You don't normally score from there. It shows the confidence levels going through this Crystal Palace team.

Top drawer. Daniel Munoz has no right to score from there.

Crystal Palace have their first goal in the major phase of a European competition.

Yeremy Pino with a free-kick deep on the left and the ball looks to be going over the head of Daniel Munoz. But somehow Munoz, leaping high and backwards, gets up high enough to not only connect with a header, but to then loop the ball inside the far post.

The goal came when Kyiv were down to 10, with Taras Mykhavko needing treatment and Palace take full advantage.

  17. 'Mykhavko was brave'published at 27 mins

    Dynamo Kyiv 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Don Hutchison
    Ex-Scotland midfielder on TNT Sports

Taras Mykhavko was very brave going for the header and then the landing was very awkward.

Hell of a bump on Mykhavko's forehead. Dynamo Kyiv have done the right thing taking him off.

  18. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Dynamo Kyiv 0-0 Crystal Palace

Will Hughes looks to make the breakthrough but Dynamo Kyiv, who have looked solid defensively so far, get bodies in the way.

Taras Mykhavko then does excellent to head away under pressure with him getting an unintentional clattering into by Maxence Lacroix when rising for the header.

  19. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Dynamo Kyiv 0-0 Crystal Palace

Marc Guehi plays a ball from deep and it's just ahead of Jean-Philippe Mateta, with the ball bouncing harmlessly away for a goal kick.

Mateta liked the vision and intent though, with a thumbs up gesture to his skipper.
