I was looking forward to seeing Forest back in European football. Thanks to Ange I'm not. They'll be lucky to draw a game under him. Can see Forest going through three managers this season.

I think Nottingham Forest need to get a simple formation and get the ball wide.

Then be thorough in both boxes, which they haven't been.

Starting to enjoy watching Villa again, great half, great excitement, just hoping to see some goals now.

All seven of FC Midtjylland's shots in the first half were from set-pieces.

Their 1.98 xG from set-plays is the most by any side in a Europa League match (a full match, not just the first half) in the last five seasons.

We know Ange is against the idea of a set-piece coach, but he would benefit massively from hiring one.

    Ben, Birmingham

Game by game it gets more bizarre that Nuno was sacked, Ange was hired and Amorim remains. I hope Forest turn this around for the fans - but you wouldn't bet on it.

On Murillo getting injured just before Midtjylland's opening goal...

Murillo is not the type of person who would go down lightly.

When he picks up the injury, he is limping back into position.

I kind of feel sorry for him.

    On Midtjylland's second goal...

When Philip Billing gets the first touch it is mayhem after that. The first touch was the determining factor.

Already the Ange era is just damage limitation. Interesting to see whether Marinakis’ patriotism wins out over his usual ruthlessness. Just not good enough. Can’t see it getting better to be honest.

    A Depressed Forest Supporter

For those critics of Postecoglou - it’s only his first season, so don’t expect miracles, but the good news is he always wins something in his second season. However, I don’t think Marinakis will allow him to be there that long!

Forest have conceded two sloppy goals from Midtjylland set pieces and have struggled to respond since going behind ahead.

Dan Ndoye's leveller looked like providing the platform only for the visitors to regain the lead two minutes later.

It has been a stuttering performance so far from the hosts. Not the game or performance the City Ground demanded or expected.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:50 BST

    Feyenoord 0-0 Aston Villa

Goalless at the break. I'm not totally sure how it is, but it is.

Villa thought they should have had a man advantage when referee Rade Obrenovic was sent to the monitor and decided to keep Anel Ahmedhodzic on the pitch.

Then Feyenoord thought they had scored, but the goal was ruled out for an earlier foul.

    Very entertaining.

There’s no way Postecoglou should be anywhere near a Premier League club. As a neutral, under Nuno they were a pleasure to watch. Evangelos Marinakis is already fuming. Halloween has come early at the City ground. Postecoglou will be gone by the end of October.

    Sam, Kent

I wonder if Marinakis regrets sacking Nuno yet...

Someone tell Ange that if you keep doing things the same way, you’ll get the same result.
