  1. HITS THE WOODWORK - Aston Villapublished at 21:12 BST

    Feyenoord 0-0 Aston Villa

Just like the first half, it is brilliantly end-to-end. Ian Maatsen moves up from left-back and gets to the byline, his pull-back is met by Evann Guessand and his snap shot on the turn bounces off the left-hand post. So close to a breakthrough.

It is all on the front foot from Midtjylland. They see the space and keep running. It is all too easy.

Right idea and a great run from Elliot Anderson. It allowed Callum Hudson Odoi to make that pass.

There have been few glimpses of the high tempo, high pressing, swashbuckling football Ange Postecoglou wants to bring.

Midtjylland have been physical and have stifled Forest but the hosts, despite Elliot Anderson's best efforts, have so far failed to perform.

I was looking forward to seeing Forest back in European football. Thanks to Ange I'm not. They'll be lucky to draw a game under him. Can see Forest going through three managers this season.

I think Nottingham Forest need to get a simple formation and get the ball wide.

Then be thorough in both boxes, which they haven't been.

Starting to enjoy watching Villa again, great half, great excitement, just hoping to see some goals now.

All seven of FC Midtjylland's shots in the first half were from set-pieces.

Their 1.98 xG from set-plays is the most by any side in a Europa League match (a full match, not just the first half) in the last five seasons.

We know Ange is against the idea of a set-piece coach, but he would benefit massively from hiring one.

    Ben, Birmingham

Game by game it gets more bizarre that Nuno was sacked, Ange was hired and Amorim remains. I hope Forest turn this around for the fans - but you wouldn't bet on it.

On Murillo getting injured just before Midtjylland's opening goal...

Murillo is not the type of person who would go down lightly.

When he picks up the injury, he is limping back into position.

I kind of feel sorry for him.

When Philip Billing gets the first touch it is mayhem after that. The first touch was the determining factor.

Already the Ange era is just damage limitation. Interesting to see whether Marinakis’ patriotism wins out over his usual ruthlessness. Just not good enough. Can’t see it getting better to be honest.

    A Depressed Forest Supporter

For those critics of Postecoglou - it’s only his first season, so don’t expect miracles, but the good news is he always wins something in his second season. However, I don’t think Marinakis will allow him to be there that long!
