When Wednesday do win the ball back, it's so important that we put together two or three passes.

The last thing we want to do is win the ball back on the 18-yard box and be 30 yards away from Jamal Lowe.

We're not even getting a defensive rest when we do get the ball. You get your rest when you've got the ball, at times.

Leeds are being patient and are more than happy to recycle it when they need to.

Wednesday proved in the first 15 or 20 minutes that we're more than a match for Leeds. We need to weather this and get back into it.

I was watching the referee after the appeals and he was shaking his head saying "no, no, no".

The ricochet falls to Aaronson who sticks it in the middle of the goal with his left foot. It was good strike.

I've got to say, I think it's a deserved goal for Leeds. They've been the better side. If you can play through the press - which they've just done again, playing the ball out to Junior Firpo - you can do well.

It's not easy to do that at 100mph but Leeds are being brave and confident. Wednesday need to be watertight with the press.

Leeds have dealt with the majority of these attacks well but it requires 100 per cent concentration. Wednesday have the momentum.

One thing Wednesday are doing well is being really sharp on second balls.

Fair play to Leeds, they look really up for it as well. It's a great game of football so far.

The former is adamant he should have had a penalty.

One suspects Leeds boss Daniel Farke was the happier of the two German managers with his side's start but the home side have enjoyed some brighter moments in the past five minutes.

It was a short corner to Dan James, who was one-on-one with Barry Bannan.

Bannan's not the best defender in the world, so you'd expect Dan James to take him on there.

If I'm going to be nice to Pascal Struijk, the delivery is a little bit behind him. He's got to work to get his head on it but it's a really good chance.

He'll be really disappointed not to have hit the target.

Leeds win their first corner of the night down the right after a good switch of play from Ethan Ampadu opened the play up.

It's played short before Dan James' ball in takes a nick off Barry Bannan and Pascal Struijk can't adjust to direct his header on target from close range.

The Dutchman yells in frustration but it came at him quickly.

This is a big derby, a fantastic fixture. It wouldn't look out of place in the Premier League.

We've talked about starting derbies in the right way. Ingelsson did so with a good early challenge.

It's a standard back four for Wednesday. Valentin is a very progressive full-back, so I don't think they'll be hugely challenged.

You can already see Leeds are pressing really, really high up the park and not allowing Wednesday to play out at the back.

Anthony Musaba does well down the Owls left to win a corner after twisting and turning Jayden Bogle inside and out.

Barry Bannan's ball in is headed away.

First half-chance of the evening goes to the away side.

Leeds pinch the ball back high up and a couple of miskicked clearances sees Mateo Joseph have the chance to prod towards goal but James Beadle in the home goal is able to block.

Energetic start from both sides, with the crowd in full voice.

Svante Ingelsson lines up to take his first long throw of the evening for the home side but throws it short, fooling everyone (including me).

He gets it back and swings in a high cross that is dealt with.
