He starts here as manager Enzo Maresca rests multiple players, including Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo, with Liverpool to come on Sunday.

For me Tottenham have got to really go for the throat. They could put the whole tie to bed tonight if they perform like we saw them in the second half against Eintracht Frankfurt. They could have scored four or five that night. They have to have the same sort of performance tonight.

I wonder if there will be as much hyperbole and overreacting to United’s win tonight as there was against Lyon. Just the 1.3bn spent on this squad in the last 10 years, they should be walking games like this!

While Chelsea forward Pedro Neto is not concerned about the playing surface, the same cannot be said for his manager.

Enzo Maresca is "worried" about playing on a much-criticised artificial surface in the semi-final of the Conference League.

The Blues face Djurgarden on a pitch even the Swedish club's manager Jani Honkavaara described as "horrible" after a match against GAIS last week.

His criticism of the the 3Arena pitch has been echoed by Djurgarden's players, and rival managers.

Chelsea forward Pedro Neto has played down the significance of facing Djugarden on an artificial pitch in their Conference League semi-final.

Some of the Swedish side's own players have voiced their frustration about the surface, as well as Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, but Neto is prepared for the conditions.

"To be honest, when I was younger in Portugal I used to play on these pitches. I even played on the sand sometimes!" he said.

It's been a strange old season for Tottenham. Poor league form has been accompanied by this semi-final run in Europe and Ange Postecoglou says his side's success in the competition is being "diminished" by some people.

"I am really strong at the moment on the parallel worlds we are trying to traverse and I have sensed, which is not surprising because this is the way this club is perceived, people are almost trying to diminish it in some respects," he said.

"I have seen some people saying it is the equivalent of Manchester United winning the FA Cup, no. Not on any planet is it equivalent. That is suggesting that maybe we are not worthy of Champions League."

Athletic Bilbao are excellent at home, they've got the best defensive record in La Liga. In the Europa League they've won all six games, scoring 14 and only conceding two.

Let's not forget that Manchester United are the only team in Europe that are unbeaten this season. They've had an excellent time in Europe and put their Premier League woes to one side, concentrated on the Europa League and had an excellent season.

This is by far their biggest test. They're up against a very, very good team this evening.
