    BK Hacken 0-0 Arsenal

It's become a relatively open game in Gothenburg. Arsenal are having the better of the chances but they look vulnerable when Hacken counter.

The hosts send a ball over the Gunners' defence but nobody meets it.

Kyra Cooney-Cross does excellently to pick up the ball on the edge of the Hacken area but she powers her effort over.

    Paris FC 0-2 Man City

Well it probably should be 3-0 after that Aoba Fujino miss but Manchester City will be happy with this half nonetheless.

Two goals including one for debutant Vivianne Miedema.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 18:34 British Summer Time 18 September

    BK Hacken 0-0 Arsenal

    How are Arsenal not ahead?

Hacken make a complete mess of playing out from the back and the ball falls to Rosa Kafaji, who's one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

Her balance is just wrong, though, and she ends up firing an effort into the crossbar. That was a great chance.

  5. CLOSE!published at 18:34 British Summer Time 18 September

    Paris FC 0-2 Man City

Ohh I don't like to say that's a sitter, but it is.

Really good play from Manchester City and Vivianne Miedema finds Aoba Fujino in the box. The winger is all on her own six-yards out and only has to find a gap but she aims her shot straight at Chiamaka Nnadozie and it's a simple catch for the Paris FC shot stopper.

Bit better from Arsenal. They do a good job of moving the ball with pace down the wing and Kim Little sends a delivery towards the box, but Hacken get back in time to recover.

    Ooooh that would'e been lovely.

Aoba Fujino sprints down the left flank and cuts it back for Jess Park but Thea Greboval does enough to turn it behind for a corner.

    Paris FC 0-2 Man City

Just less than five minutes to go until the break and Manchester City will be very pleased with how this half has gone. They have generally been the better side and had the better of the opportunities, they just needed to put them away and now they have done just that.

    BK Hacken 0-0 Arsenal

Another chance for the visitors! Clarissa Larisey is played into an open space down the right hand side, but her effort is stopped.

It then falls out to Anna Anvegard but Lotte Wubben-Moy gets across to block her shot.

    BK Hacken 0-0 Arsenal

BK Hacken show a bit of promise, but it's wasted.

They break forward but Manuela Zinsberger manages to get to the ball, then they have a free kick just outside of the area but Elma Nelhage sends it over the heads of her teammates.

    Jess Park (38 mins)

No sooner had finished typing that last entry and Manchester City have got the ball in the back of the net again.

This time it's Jess Park who picks up the ball five-yards out and picks her spot and smashes home.

A lovely finish and City are in business now!

Beth Mead does really well to leave the ball in the middle of the box and allow Emily Fox's cross to find Rosa Kafaji.

But the Swede can't get her feet right against her former club and the ball gets snatched off of her.

    Vivianne Miedema (36 mins)

Well I had just said that Vivianne Miedema has been quiet but all she needed was that one decent ball into the box and she's took her chance.

Jess Park zips one across and Miedema takes it on the half volley and finds the back of the net.

It's an awkward angle but that's why she's the Women's Super League's top goalscorer.

A perfect debut for the Dutch forward.

Clara Mateo latches onto a good ball from midfield and has time and space on the right-hand side but there's no one in the penalty box for her to pass to.

She has no choice but to hit and hope and it's cleared by Yui Hasegawa.

    BK Hacken 0-0 Arsenal

Well, it's quietened a little in this one now.

Arsenal still trying to get in behind Hacken, but it's not the most energetic display from either side.

The Gunners seem happy to have the ball.

    Paris FC 0-0 Man City

Vivianne Miedema has been quiet so far, she seems to be sitting in a slightly deeper role than some might have expected.

But then City have gone with a very attacking line-up this evening. There's not space for everyone in the box.

    BK Hacken 0-0 Arsenal

A reminder that tonight's game is being played on an artificial pitch. The players seem much more apprehensive about putting in sliding tackles.

    Paris FC 0-0 Man City

Thea Greboval is fine to continue and Paris FC now look to get on the break. Gaetane Thiney runs through the middle of the park but the opportunity is wasted with a wayward pass that hands possession back to Manchester City.

  19. Postpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 18 September

    BK Hacken 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal are ramping up the pressure. Mariona Caldentey darts towards the middle, dribbles past a defender and plays a one-two with Beth Mead, but the ball gets cleared behind for a corner.

A break in play here as Thea Greboval is down and requires a bit of treatment. She looks to be in a bit of discomfort after a coming together with Mary Fowler.
