    Birmingham 1-0 Wycombe

Things might be going from bad to worse for Wycombe boss Mike Dodds, who was once of this parish and spent a decade coaching in the Birmingham academy.

His goalkeeper Will Norris is now down getting treatment.

  2. 'Wycombe are giving Birmingham too much respect'published at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 1-0 Wycombe

    James Richings
Wycombe summariser on BBC Three Counties Radio

    It's been all Birmingham.

I'm getting Ipswich Town vibes from a couple of years ago.

Birmingham are pressing so high, the ball is almost being played in the Wycombe box.

You've got to give credit to Birmingham but Wycombe are giving them too much respect.

They need to do a lot more.

    I'm surprised it's only 1-0.

  3. goal

GOAL: Tranmere 1-1 Port Valepublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Ronan Curtis (29 mins)

    Ronan Curtis levels for Vale.

George Byers releases the ball behind the left-back, Kyle John crosses, and Ronan Curtis pulls just off the defender and fires past Luke McGee.

  4. OFF THE LINE!published at 12:59 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 1-0 Wycombe

So close to 2-0 for Birmingham...

The ball drops to Tomoki Iwata about 12 yards out and he slots one towards the bottom corner, but Wycombe centre-back Joe Low does brilliantly to block it on the line with an outstretched leg!

  5. Postpublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Wrexham 0-0 Bolton

Wrexham are testing the Bolton defence with a number of crosses.

Ryan Longman in particular has sent in a few teasers but they are yet to produce a goal.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 1-0 Wycombe

Alfie May runs into the channel on the left for Birmingham and is clipped by Wycombe skipper Josh Scowen and sent tumbling to the deck.

Scowen goes into the book for the challenge before the Blues free-kick is cleared behind by the visitors.

    Wrexham 0-0 Bolton

    A shot from Bolton.

Aaron Morley is 20-yards out and sends a left footer wide.

  8. 'A fantastic goal'published at 12:55 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 1-0 Wycombe

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

What a ball that is from Ryan Allsop.

Norris got a hand to it but it's great technique from Taylor Gardner-Hickman. Takes it on the chest and hits it on the volley.

    A fantastic goal.

When the keeper gets a hand to it like that he'd expect to save it.

  9. Postpublished at 12:54 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Wrexham 0-0 Bolton

Jay Rodriguez leans back on an effort for Wrexham and lifts it over the bar.

Now Ryan Longman sends over a cross but Sam Smith's downward header bounces off the turf and over.

    It's getting better.

Seb Revan gets down the left for Wrexham and whips in a cross but Luke Southwood safely gathers at the near post.

It's one of those games where, if you were watching at home, you might start scrolling on your phone or nip into the kitchen and put the kettle on...

  11. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 1-0 Wycombepublished at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Taylor Gardner-Hickman (21 mins)

The leaders strike first and what a goal this is by Taylor Gardner-Hickman!

Goalkeeper Ryan Allsop pings a lovely ball over the top and Gardner-Hickman chests it down and hits it on the volley first time...

Will Norris gets a hand on it in the Wycombe goal but the power of the strike is enough to see it trickle in!

Norris probably won't want to see it again but take nothing away from the technique and effort by Gardner-Hickman who bags his second goal in two games.

  12. goal

GOAL: Tranmere 1-0 Port Valepublished at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Kristian Dennis (18 mins)

A huge defensive error from Ben Amos gifts Tranmere the lead.

Amos tried to play the ball out and it's Kristian Dennis who is able to drift it into the empty net.

  13. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

Rangers loanee Kieran Dowell has the ball in the back of the net for Birmingham. It was a lovely finish on the half volley into the bottom corner after sneaking in behind... but he's flagged offside.

  14. 'A good save from Norris'published at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

    James Richings
Wycombe summariser on BBC Three Counties Radio

    It's a great stop.

Alfie May could have put a bit more power into it if he wanted to get it past Will Norris.

A good save from the big man.

Birmingham are really starting to turn the screw now. I think Wycombe might want to try and play out of possession and tire Birmingham out.

We might see an old school Wycombe similar to the Gareth Ainsworth years.

  15. Postpublished at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

Birmingham's corner from the right is cleared by Daniel Udoh and it drops to Tomoki Iwata about 25 yards out but he fires over the top.

  16. Postpublished at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

Fifteen minutes gone...they're 15 minutes of our lives we're not getting back...

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:44 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

    Now we've had a shot!

Alfie May is slipped into the right channel in the box by Willum Willumsson and he fires a shot across goal towards the far corner but Will Norris gets down well to his right to parry it away.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Wrexham 0-0 Bolton

A first caution and it's Wrexham's Matty James as he pulls his man back.

He'll need to watch it now.

  19. Postpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

They call it "feeling out" in a boxing fight... neither side will want to give an inch today and that's very much the case in the opening stages so far.

A stop-start opening, especially after the early injury to Wycombe's Daniel Harvie, and not a shot to shout about yet.

  20. Postpublished at 12:41 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Wrexham 0-0 Bolton

    A shot....kind of.

Jay Rodriguez nods the ball down for Sam Smith just inside the Bolton area but the former Reading man fails to make a proper connection and it dribbles into the hands of Luke Southwood.

It's taking a while to get going here.
