  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 12:41 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

Such a shame for Daniel Harvie who hobbles off in some pain for Wycombe after just eight minutes.

He's replaced at left-back by Adam Reach who makes his league debut for the Chairboys.

  2. Postpublished at 12:39 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

Not an ideal start here for Wycombe and, in particular, Daniel Harvie, who has gone down after a challenge inside the Blues half and is requiring treatment.

  3. Postpublished at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Wrexham 0-0 Bolton

Oof - the Wrexham skipper Eoghan O'Connell has a little bit left on him by John McAtee as he clears the ball away.

Referee Declan Bourne just a has a passing word with the Bolton man and on we go.

  4. Postpublished at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Tranmere 0-0 Port Vale

Cagey start for both teams, two teams at opposite ends of League Two.

Vale will be looking to establish themselves early on.

Will the departure of Nigel Adkins give this Tranmere side a new lease of life?

  5. 'Blue have to be at it out of possession'published at 12:36 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Wycombe have been excellent all season even with the change in style of play but at the top end is where they are really potent.

So Blues will really have to be at it with their out of possession stuff today.

They'll have to play through rather than any direct play because the Wycombe centre-halves will eat that up all day.

  6. Postpublished at 12:36 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

Xavier Simons almost gets caught inside his own penalty area for Wycombe as he's harried by Birmingham's Paik Seung-ho before Kieran Dowell tangles with him and goes down... but Simons just about gets away with it and the visitors can clear.

The first nervy moment of the afternoon.

  7. Postpublished at 12:33 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Wrexham 0-0 Bolton

Bright sunshine in North Wales today and the STōK Cae Ras is a sell-out.

Can Phil Parkinson put one over his former club or will Bolton inflict a third successive home league defeat on Wrexham?

A bit of a scrappy opening.

  8. Postpublished at 12:33 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Birmingham 0-0 Wycombe

Birmingham boast the best home record in League One this season with 42 points from 16 games at St Andrew's.

Meanwhile, Wycombe have the best away record in the division with 32 points from 16 matches on the road.

    Will something give today?

    James Richings
Wycombe summariser on BBC Three Counties Radio

It really is a big game, a real party atmosphere here at St Andrew's.

First vs second and hopefully Wycombe can come away with all three points.

Birmingham City boss Chris Davies names an unchanged side for the League One leaders from their 2-0 win over Leyton Orient on Tuesday night.

Mike Dodds makes one alteration for Wycombe Wanderers following their goalless draw at home to Wigan Athletic last time out.

Fred Onyedinma comes into the side for Beryly Lubala, who drops to the bench.

Wrexham make one change from their previous league game - a 2-1 win at Mansfield last Sunday.

Midfielder Andy Cannon requires surgery on an ACL injury so Matty James starts.

As for Bolton, they also make one change from the team that beat Leyton Orient seven days ago.

Aaron Collins comes in for Jay Matete, who drops to the bench.

They don't come much bigger than this. First plays second at St Andrew's.

Birmingham City have been steamrolling their way towards the League One title and a return to the Championship at the first time of asking.

Blues are unbeaten in their past 17 league games, winning 13 and drawing four, while keeping 13 clean sheets in the process - they've only conceded four goals during that run.

A win today would take Birmingham 12 points clear with a game to spare and almost put one hand on the trophy.

Wycombe Wanderers are on course for their best season since relegation to League One in 2021, and will be desperate to cling on to an automatic promotion spot.

The Chairboys' quest to go up has stuttered slightly since the turn of the year, with three wins from their past nine games.

While they've only lost one of those, draws could prove to be damaging as we head towards the final straight with both Wrexham and potentially Stockport County waiting to pounce. Crunch time, indeed.

There's a lot to be said for timing and momentum if you get into the play-offs and Bolton seem to have both.

Having replaced head coach Ian Evatt with Steven Schumacher at the end of January the Trotters season was in danger of petering out, but after a false start at Reading in his first game the new boss has them ticking once again.

Three wins in a row has them level on points with sixth-placed Leyton Orient and with a game in hand.

Bolton are looking to make it four successive league wins for the first time since January last year, and they have the necessary firepower with only Wycombe and Birmingham having scored more than their 52 goals.

Anyone who takes notice of these sorts of things will be buoyed by Bolton having won four of their past five league visits to North Wales, including their last trip although that was back in 1988!

Those with shorter memories may want to reference the 1-0 loss at STōK Cae Ras in the EFL Trophy in February.

In the past three years there haven't been many bad weeks for Wrexham and their supporters, just the odd hiccup of which they have just had one.

With 72 minutes played and 2-0 up against Peterborough United on Wednesday night, the Welshmen were cruising towards the EFL Trophy final - but barely half an hour later they were left concentrating on the league having conceded an injury-time equaliser and lost in a penalty shootout.

Today they have the chance to put that behind them and could be level on points with second-placed Wycombe by about half past two this afternoon.

Firstly, they have to beat Bolton but what was fortress STōK Cae Ras has recently shown a few cracks.

Wrexham have lost their past two league games at home, which is as many as they had in the previous 37.

They are also the second lowest scorers in the current top six with only Huddersfield Town having scored fewer than their 48 goals.

They are missing influential midfielder Andy Cannon after he suffered an ACL injury, but the return of Elliot Lee following a car accident might be timely.

Here's how things are looking before two big games at lunchtime in League One.

Birmingham City could extend their lead over Wycombe Wanderers in second to a hefty 12 points with victory over the Chairboys, having played one game less - or see their advantage cut to six points with a loss.

Wrexham will be hoping to either close the gap or keep in touch with the automatic promotion spots when they welcome Bolton, who have play-off ambitions and could move up to fifth with a win before the games later today.

A pivotal couple of early kick-offs today.

Salford City will be looking to close the gap on the League Two play-off places knowing that three points today could put them a point outside the top seven.

Having lost their past two league games, Karl Robinson's side will hope to get back to winning ways.

Second-placed Bradford City will arrive at Moor Lane off the back of four wins in five as they continue to chase the runaway League Two leaders Walsall.

The Bantams have won eight of their past 10 league fixtures (W8 D1 L1), and could close the gap at the top to four points, if only until Walsall kick off at 15:00 GMT.

  19. New chapter begins for Tranmerepublished at 12:08 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

Tranmere will be looking for a fresh start following the departure of boss Nigel Adkins on Wednesday.

Rovers will be hoping to turn their form around and climb away from the League Two drop zone as they aim to end their winless run of 10 league games (D3 L7).

High-flying Port Vale have had a polar opposite run of form, unbeaten in their past eight league games (W5 D3). A win at Prenton Park could lift them as high as fourth place.

Bradford City will be hoping to pile the pressure on leaders Walsall when they visit Salford City at lunchtime, knowing a win will cut the Saddlers' lead to four points before they welcome Swindon at 15:00 GMT.

Salford are still in play-off contention, and a victory for the Ammies will put them within a point of Crewe Alexandra in seventh, who travel to Chesterfield later today.

In the other early kick-off, Port Vale will climb into the automatic promotion spots if they overcome strugglers Tranmere, who are two points above the relegation zone.
