  1. Postpublished at 19:06 British Summer Time

    Rangers 3-0 Dundee

Tony Docherty must be tearing his hair out.

Another huge chance goes to waste, as Scott Tiffoney hesitates in front of goal following a really slack pass from James Tavernier.

Jack Butland saves and the Rangers captain gets away with one.

  2. 'Agonising for Carswell'published at 19:01 British Summer Time

    Aberdeen 4-0 The Spartans

    Willie Miller
Former Aberdeen captain on BBC Sportsound

Sokler manages to get on the end of yet another cross from MacKenzie to slide it in to the back of the net.

Looked as though Carswell might have done enough to keep it out, but agonisingly for the Spartans goalkeeper it trundles over the line.

  3. 'Difficult finish'published at 19:00 British Summer Time

    Rangers 3-0 Dundee

    Ian Murray
Former Rangers defender on BBC Sportsound

What a fantastic ball in that is, it's so quick as well.

The defenders and Carson have no time to set themselves.

It's a wonderful finish from Dessers on his right foot. He keeps it low, it's so difficult to do that.

  4. goal

GOAL! Aberdeen 4-0 Spartanspublished at 18:59 British Summer Time

    Ester Sokler

    It's another slick move.

A pinpoint switch finds Leighton Clarkson on the left. His pass for Jack Mackenzie nutmegs a Spartans player, and the full-back finds Sokler sliding in.

The striker is struggling for confidence and almost misses, but hooked it off goalkeeper Blair Carswell and into the net.

We'll give him it, I think...

Nedim Bajrami puts a lovely ball from the left-hand side into Cyriel Dessers' path, and the Nigeria international lashes a first-time effort past Trevor Carson and into the back of the net.

There's a quick VAR check for offside, but the goal is given.

  6. 'Palmer-Houlden must score'published at 18:57 British Summer Time

    Rangers 2-0 Dundee

    Rory Loy
Former Dundee striker on BBC Sportsound

He's got to score. Given the type of game this is and that they are 2-0 down, that has to go into the back of the net.

    Golden opportunity missed.

    Rangers 2-0 Dundee

Another big chance goes begging for Dundee.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:56 British Summer Time

    Aberdeen 3-0 The Spartans

That's a great save from Spartans goalkeeper Blair Carswell, who flings himself to his left-hand side to push away Graeme Shinnie's effort.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:54 British Summer Time

    Rangers 2-0 Dundee

A strong right hand from Trevor Carson denies Nedim Bajrami a first Rangers goal.

It's a powerful right-footed strike from the Albania international, and Carson reacts quickly to tip it over the bar.

    Aberdeen 3-0 The Spartans

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Sport Scotland at Pittodrie

The tempo of this game has inevitably dropped.

The Spartans are seeing a little bit more of the ball at the moment, but when Aberdeen do get back on to it they still look very dangerous.

  11. Tavernier opens accountpublished at 18:51 British Summer Time

    Rangers 2-0 Dundee

How have Dundee not pulled one back?

The ball drops to Simon Murray five yards out, but he can't beat Jack Butland in the Rangers goal.

  13. Postpublished at 18:46 British Summer Time

    Rangers 2-0 Dundee

Vaclav Cerny cuts inside on to his left foot and plays a lovely ball into the six-yard box, but there's no-one on hand to finish and a shot from the edge of the box flies over the bar.

  18. Postpublished at 18:36 British Summer Time

    Aberdeen 3-0 The Spartans

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Sport Scotland at Pittodrie

The worst possible start to the second half for The Spartans.

This has the feel of a game that could get a bit messy for them if Aberdeen continue with their ruthless approach to this encounter.

  19. goal

GOAL! Aberdeen 3-0 Spartanspublished at 18:33 British Summer Time

    Leighton Clarkson

Forty-five seconds into the second half and Aberdeen probably seal a place in the semi-finals.

Centre-back Slobodan Rubezic, of all people, swings in a brilliant cross and Clarkson makes a run from deep before stopping to nod home.

  20. Postpublished at 18:33 British Summer Time

    Aberdeen 2-0 The Spartans

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Sport Scotland at Pittodrie

Topi Keskinen on for Pape Habib Gueye at the start of the second half.

His pace and directness will be the last thing the Spartans defence would have wanted after a torrid first half.
