Tawanda Maswanhise curls home his second goal of the game

Tawanda Maswanhise scored twice as Motherwell beat Greenock Morton 3-0 at Fir Park to secure their place in the Premier Sports Cup knockout stages.

After a goalless first half, Apostolos Stamatelopoulos tapped home from close range after Johnny Koutroumbis' powerful effort was well saved by Morton keeper James Storer.

From there, Maswanhise came to the fore.

The Zimbabwe forward swept home Motherwell's second from inside the box before he added to his tally with a magnificent curling shot from range that found the top corner.

Jens Berthel Askou's side top the group with 11 points from their four matches and cannot be caught.
