This will be the first ever Football League meeting between Shrewsbury Town and Salford City, and first in any competition since the 2024-25 FA Cup first round, the Ammies winning 2-1.
Salford City’s last competitive visit to Shrewsbury was a 1-1 draw in the 2018-19 FA Cup first round, with the Shrews winning the subsequent replay 3-1 at Moor Lane.
