    Gillingham 0-0 Accrington

A positive start from the home side who have had a couple of sniffs at goal.

Ethan Coleman has a header early doors from a corner but it's straight into the hands of Billy Crellin.

And Elliott Nevitt has a crack at goal after Crellin clears but it's blocked.

No, the Everton winger is not a secret Peterborough or Rotherham fan. Although, he may well have developed a love for the former given he's at London Road today to hopefully watch son Tyler, who's on the bench for the Posh.

The 18-year-old midfielder made his debut this week in a 2-0 EFL Trophy win over Stevenage.

    Peterborough 0-0 Rotherham

It will be fascinating to see how Jonson Clarke-Harris performs at his old club Peterborough this afternoon.

Clarke-Harris scored 87 goals for the club during a four-year spell at London Road.

No clear chances for either side just yet.

An early sight of goal for Vale's Lorent Tolaj but his effort is off target.

    Peterborough 0-0 Rotherham United

    Ronnie Moore
Ex-Rotherham manager on BBC Radio Sheffield

I don't think any of the Rotherham players have touched the ball yet, Peterborough in complete possession control.

Rotherham have just got to be patient.

    Luca Barrington (1 mins)

The first goal in the 15:00 kick-offs is at the Peninsula Stadium as teenager Luca Barrington puts Grimsby into the lead, converting from the tightest of angles.

The 19-year-old is on loan from Premier League Brighton & Hove Albion.

    Doncaster 0-0 Crewe

Crewe came back from a two goal first leg deficit to beat Doncaster in their play-off semi-final last season - what's good is the Crewe fans aren't reminding the home fans about that!

Mind you, the home supporters have been quick to remind them what happened in that Wembley final against Crawley..

Fourth-placed Barrow, who got back to winning ways last week, welcome bottom of the table Morecombe who are yet to win in League Two this season.

The Bluebirds are unbeaten in their last six home league games while Morecombe are winless in their last 15 League Two games (D5 L10), their longest ever run without a victory in the Football League.

Lowly West Country sides Cheltenham Town and Swindon Town face each other at the EV Charger Points Stadium with both sides desperate to find consistent league form. Cheltenham have won just one of their last five games and Swindon have picked up just the one win so far this season.

Newport County's away form has not been the best of late having lost five out of six on the road. They make the trip the Harrogate today with the Sulphurites winning two of their last three league games against Newport, though they did lose the last meeting between the two sides 4-1 in February.

Grimsby Town will be hoping to get back on track after their 3-0 defeat against Doncaster last Saturday. David Artell’s side make the trip to Salford City who go into this off a 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon. That win was their first win their last four league games.

And Bradford City who picked up their first win in five league games against Newport on Monday travel to a Tranmere Rovers side who have no wins in their last five, drawing the last three.

Doncaster Rovers v Crewe Alexandra (15:00 BST)

Doncaster manager Grant McCann applauds the club's supportersImage source, Rex Features

These two saw a lot of each other last season, four times in fact with Crewe coming out on top in the play-off semi-final after they had shared a win each in the regular season.

Doncaster's 10-game winning streak towards the end of last season gave them an unlikely shot at the play-offs in the first place and, despite that shootout defeat by Crewe, they were promptly placed among the promotion favourites this term.

With Billy Sharp rejoining the club from Hull City and Luke Molyneux penning a new three-year contract, manager Grant McCann went about an aggressive summer recruitment and with 12 wins from their past 13 home EFL games Crewe will be severely tested today.

Mind you, the Alex are no slouches themselves and with five wins from six games and the fourth-best defensive record in the division they're travelling to the Keepmoat Stadium full of confidence with a chance to join the logjam at the top of League Two.

MK Dons v Port Vale (15:00 BST)

MK Dons manager Scott Lindsey and Port Vale boss Darren MooreImage source, Rex Features

Now, we don't want to undersell this one but the last nine meetings between these two have produced a relatively paltry 11 goals... there, we've said it, so now we'll get a classic...

MK Dons have scored at least once in each of their last 23 home games and new boss Scott Lindsey is yet to taste defeat since taking over with one win and two draws in League Two.

Port Vale are rebuilding after relegation from League One with a big turnover of players during the summer and boss Darren Moore believes there's still more to come from his side.

Only Notts County have more points than Vale on their travels in League Two so far and 14 points from their past six games means Moore's team are the form horse in the division.

The Burslem-based side are part of the crowded scene at the top of the table but a win for MK could push them into the top-half.

    Gillingham v Accrington (15:00 BST)

Gillingham manager Mark BonnerImage source, Rex Features

Promotion-chasers Gillingham lost their spot at the League Two summit in their last outing after suffering a 2-0 defeat at Crewe.

Mark Bonner’s side who have now lost back-to-back league games are unbeaten across their last five league games against Accrington (W4 D1), winning each of the last three matches in succession.

Strugglers Accrington celebrated their first win of the season, sending Morecambe to the bottom of the table in a 2-1 victory thanks to a Dara Costelloe double.

But Stanley have won just one of their eight previous away Football League games at Gillingham (D3 L4), failing to score in five of those matches.

They also go into this on the back of a 2-1 defeat against Tranmere Rovers in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night.

Johnnie Jackson speaks to BBC Radio London at Plough Lane

The pitch is looking immaculate as AFC Wimbledon get ready to host Carlisle United in their first match back at Plough Lane since it was damaged in flooding.

Dons manager Johnnie Jackson has been speaking to BBC Radio London prior to kick-off and admitted he was unsure how long it would be before his side were able to run out on home turf again.

"We've had some away games, some really long journeys and with what happened I thought we might not be back here at all any time soon," he said.

"So credit to everyone involved in turning it round so quick because it was a big operation and I think they did a great job."

Last month a devastating night of flooding left the Cherry Red Records Stadium underwater and the turf resembling a golf course more than a football pitch.

Games were postponed while the club waited to find the full extent - and cost - of the damage.

As so often been the case with this club, fans banded together to help in times of crisis, with more than £120,000 raised in a crowdfund set up by supporter Graham Stacey - with donations from around the country.

Less than three weeks later, AFC Wimbledon's Plough Lane home is open again as the Wombles welcome Carlisle United for this afternoon's League Two fixture.

Peterborough United v Rotherham United (15:00 BST)

Peterborough's main issue of late has been leaking too many goals, only Burton Albion have let in more than the 18 that Posh have conceded this season.

They are one of two sides in League One - along with winless Cambridge United - who are awaiting their first clean sheet this term.

Rotherham will be encouraged by that, as well as the fact that the Millers have only failed to score in one of their last 14 league games against today's opponents.

But Posh's attack has been free-flowing too, they have scored at least two goals in eight out of their last 11 games in all competitions.

Crawley Town and Shrewsbury Town are both languishing inside League One's bottom four, with just three wins between them this season.

Shrewsbury have just one victory in their last 17 league games, stretching back to last term, while Crawley have lost six out of their last seven.

The record in matches between them makes more encouraging reading for Salop, who are unbeaten in their last five against Rob Elliot's side.

The Reds will also have to pick themselves up after a gutting EFL Trophy defeat midweek - they came from 3-0 to equalise at home to AFC Wimbledon, only to concede again in the 96th minute.

Shrewsbury boss Paul Hurst would have liked the game - one of just two in the division today - to have been called off due to the international break, but he will have to cope without defenders Aaron Pierre and Luca Hoole, who have been called up by Grenada and Wales Under-21s, respectively.

  19. McGoldrick dedicates his goal to the Baldock familypublished at 14:37 British Summer Time 12 October

David McGoldrick placed both fingers to the sky after netting the equaliser having been a teammate of George Baldock at Sheffield United.

McGoldrick told Sky Sports: "I want to dedicate that goal to the Baldock family. I knew when I came off the bench today I would score for him.

"It's been a tough few days for me personally so that's for his family and I want them to know I'm thinking of them."

For a couple of hours anyway, as that David McGoldrick goal has Notts County top of the pile while Chesterfield have moved up a place. You'd imagine Paul Cook won't be overly pleased with that, however.
