  2. Docherty takes 'pride' in Dundee displaypublished at 17:27 28 April

    FT: Dundee 1-2 Celtic

Dundee boss Tony Docherty tells BBC Scotland: "Pride in the performance. First half we were a bit passive but we addressed that at half time.

"We had a really strong performance and went toe-to-toe with Celtic. I watched a really good side in and out of possession. I think that adds a bit of belief to the team. We need to feel that sense of satisfaction.

"At a pivotal time in the season I feel we're getting better and better. All I can do is reinforce belief in the players."

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Sportsound: "We were in control of the game at 2-0 with 15 minutes or so to go and it looked like we could've got another one or two.

"But when their goal goes in, it gives them a little bit of hope. You then have to show your spirit and defend your box, from corners and long throws. It was very pleasing to get it over the line.

"There's no doubt (Dundee have improved). The pitch makes a difference for the likes of ourselves, as it's dry and bumpy which doesn't allow for a fluent game. But there is absolutely no doubt Dundee have had a fantastic season. I'm so pleased for Tony (Docherty) and his staff.

"They work so hard and can be a threat, so we have to overcome that. We've played better at times than we have at times today, but it was all important to get the three points and the players done that.

"I said to the players afterwards that (James Forrest) is one of the fathers of the great success this club has had over the last decade, on and off the pitch. He's a real symbol of that success. Very humble, very understated and with immense quality. You saw that in both his finishes.

"I think he can go on. You see him stretching a lot and because of his position there is a lot of high intensity work. But he's making the impact we need from him. And he's done that and won us the game.

"I don't know (whether he can make the Scotland squad). He's had great moments with Scotland. He's been pivotal for me and Scotland."

  7. 'Lack of game time for Forrest surprising'published at 17:11 28 April

Forrest's been on and off the bench, but today he started and that was a really good decision.

It is surprising he has not featured more, especially when a manager comes out and says he's the best winger at the club.

At this stage - with the nerves and with what's at stake - all that matters is getting three points.

That is what Celtic and Rangers have both done today.

  9. As they standpublished at 17:03 28 April

Well then, it's as you were in the race for the title and fifth.

Celtic did their job, as did Rangers, with a hard-fought 2-1 win.

That means three points is still the gap between the top two, while two points is the difference between St Mirren and Dundee.

    That could be that.

Aaron Donnelly's cross is too heavy and Celtic breathe a sigh of relief.

Joe Hart takes a yellow for time wasting. Time's up.

It's lofted to the back post and Michael Mellon wins it, but it's nodded wide.

That last corner, it was a really good header from Liam Scales about two yards from the goal-line.

I expected Joe Hart to come get it, he should've come for it.

But it's a very good defensive header from Scales.

Liam Scales is scampering back towards his own goal and does well to clear behind a pass that looked like it was about to reach Michael Mellon.

    The corner is poor though.
