    Robbie Savage

He has tucked it away to make it 2-0 on the evening. Wow.

Paredes actually places the ball behind the penalty spot, and I can only imagine that's because the spot had become a bit indented.

It was definitely a penalty. It was handball.

Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

    Neil Lennon
Former Celtic manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Villa haven't done enough in this second half, they looked good in the first, some slick play but now they're looking jaded. It looks to be mental fatigue more than physical fatigue and Olympiakos look to be the fresher of the teams despite the amount of defending they did in the first half.

Olympiakos look like a team who have only played twice in three weeks and Villa look like a team who have played five times in three weeks. Unless the Premier league give English teams more time to recover in the latter stages of European competitions, we shouldn't expect too much success in Europe.

    Bazza, Villa fan

Villa have had a great season, but they are running on fumes now. There is a reason no English team has made a final and unfortunately, it's the schedule.

That should've been game over. Olympiakos spring a counter and suddenly they have an overload, but goalscorer Ayoub El Kaabi overhits the pass through to Santiago Hezze and the chance is wasted.

Villa move down the other end and Jhon Duran, who has only just come on, has a shot that is shovelled away by Kostas Tzolakis.
