  1. 'You feel like Villa are going to score'published at 21:04 British Summer Time 9 May

Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

    Peter Crouch
    Ex-England striker on TNT Sports

Villa are creating chances, you feel like they're going to score.

Because Olympiakos have got so many players in the box it's difficult at times - Villa haven't been gilt-edged, but they are coming.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 9 May

    Atalanta 1-0 Marseille (agg: 2-1)

The second half has already started here and Atalanta defender Ederson is booked for a foul on Jordan Veretout.

  3. 'Villa do have more quality than what we have seen'published at 21:00 British Summer Time 9 May

HT: Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

    Rachel Corsie
Scotland and Aston Villa captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ayoub El Kaabi has not seen much of the ball for Olympiakos but with the touches he has had he was clinical. Very similar to the first leg. That is what the home side are doing better than Villa tonight.

However, Villa do have more quality than what we have seen, it has proved difficult to break down the low block but they can do better and that is what Unai Emery will be telling the players just now.

If the score stays the same, then is Leverkusen's "undefeated" tag still intact cos it's over 2 legs? Debate away!!

    Dominic

A short debate because the answer is no, the unbeaten run would be over

Lethargic performance by Villa, the build-up play is too slow, too many wasteful balls. They need the second half of a lifetime.

Need to get Duran and Diaby on, need firepower in the second half

  6. 'Goals in it for Villa but may be case of too little, too late'published at 20:56 British Summer Time 9 May

HT: Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

    Neil Lennon
Former Celtic manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Villa haven't played poorly but they've lacked a bit of punch in front of goal. Credit to Olympiakos, their goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis and the two central defenders in front of him, shielding the goal so well.

Olympiakos have been brilliant on the counter attack. I think there are goals in this for Villa but it may be a case of too little, too late for them. They need three just to take the tie to extra time.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 9 May

Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

Olympiakos doing exactly what they need to do as they lead on the night through Ayoub El Kaabi's fourth goal of the tie.

Villa have had loads of possession, but struggled with the final ball, although Leon Bailey's effort late on in the half, tipped over by Kostas Tzolakis, will provide some encouragement.

Nevertheless, Villa need a sensational second half otherwise it's game over for English clubs in Europe this season.

  8. 'Great save'published at 20:52 British Summer Time 9 May

Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

    Neil Lennon
Former Celtic manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was a hell of a strike from Leon Bailey and it took a deflection too. A great save from the goalkeeper, such an important moment.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:51 British Summer Time 9 May

Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

Much better from Aston Villa. Leon Bailey fizzes one at goal from 25 yards and it takes a slight deflection, which makes Kostas Tzolakis' acrobatic one-handed tip over the bar an even better save.

Villa's best moment of the match. They need a lot more of that.

In the last seconds of the half, Douglas Luiz gets a yellow card for pulling back Kostas Fortounis near the touchline.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 9 May

Bayer Leverkusen 0-1 Roma (agg: 2-1)

As things stand, Bayer Leverkusen are in the Europa League final... but their unbeaten season is over.

  11. Postpublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 9 May

Bayer Leverkusen 0-1 Roma (agg: 2-1)

Leverkusen captain Jonathan Tah fouls Romelu Lukaku in the centre circle. He'd better be careful, the defender, because he's already been booked.

  12. 'Olympiakos have defended like men possessed'published at 20:47 British Summer Time 9 May

Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

    Neil Lennon
Former Celtic manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

We are talking about the first goal and it hasn't come yet for Villa. It's not like they haven't had the opportunities or chances either. The Olympiakos players have defended like men possessed. The only thing is, how long can they keep it up for?

  13. 'Villa not as clinical as Olympiakos'published at 20:47 British Summer Time 9 May

Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

The last pass and the shot on goal for Villa has not been as clinical as Olympiakos, and that's why Villa are behind.

  14. Postpublished at 45+2 mins

Olympiakos 1-0 Aston Villa (agg: 5-2)

Lucas Digne tries to play an angled ball through the home defence and one for Matty Cash to race on to, but there's too much on the pass and it's a goal kick. Villa have had about 75% of the ball, but not done much with it at all, with goalkeeper Kostas Tzolakis barely tested.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:46 British Summer Time 9 May

    Atalanta 1-0 Marseille (agg: 2-1)

No injury time at all. Atalanta are 45 minutes away from the Europa League final.

They have got their goalkeeper to thank so far, Roma.
