But Motherwell improved and got one back through Callum Slattery's free kick. They'll be kicking themselves at giving away a cheap penalty just five minutes later, though.

Boyle smashed it in to effectively seal a fifth win in seven games for Hibs and move them into the top six.

This game has literally had everything. An overhead kick potential winner from Louis Moult. A St Mirren penalty - taken by Toyosi Olusanya - well saved by Jack Walton. Goal-mouth scrambles, goal-line clearances, both sides hitting the crossbar and both keepers pulling off blinding saves. Terrific stuff.

Dundee United having the better of the chances I would need to say in the last five or so minutes.

Just most recently it was Dalby through on goal. I would need to say it was a narrow angle just out the right-hand side of the box and he looked to go back across Zach Hemming, but it was a poor connection, which made it an easy stop for the keeper.

Motherwell have been the better team in the second half. The introduction of Tawanda Maswanhise and Marvin Kaleta, in particular, have made a difference.

Crucially, though, they haven't managed a goal. Can they get one to unsettle Hibs and the Easter Road crowd?

Sam Dalby's first real chance of this game, but the United substitute is denied by Zach Hemming's block at the goalkeeper's near post after the striker is put through on goal.

Kevin Holt meets a ball at the back post and looks almost to slide tackle it in, but Zach Hemming is brave in the Buddies goal to keep the game goalless.
