Let's just take a quick look at the form guide to see how these teams are... wow, ok.

The Clarets are unbeaten in their past 15 games, from which they have emerged with 33 points.

They have kept 19 clean sheets this season, and have by far the best defence in the Championship with only nine goals conceded in their 28 matches thus far.

One of those clean sheets came at Elland Road in September when Luca Koleosho popped up with the only goal after 18 minutes to give Burnley the win, despite Bashir Humphreys being sent-off in the dying minutes for a second bookable offence.

For their part Leeds are undefeated in their past 10 matches, taking 24 points from that run, and boast the best attack in the division with 53 goals scored in 28 games, five more than any other side, and in one fewer match too.

With all due respect to Chelmsford v Maidstone in National League South and Genoa v Monza in Serie A this evening, this game is the biggest football match on the planet this evening.

Beamed around the world, two teams who have spent more time in the Premier League than out of it since the turn of the decade and desperate to get back there come May.

We want to know if you think these two will take the automatic promotion places, leaving Sheffield United and Sunderland to battle it out in the play-offs, or perhaps you fancy another team to make a late charge in the final third of the season.

Get in touch via the usual channels and we'll publish the best posts right here, of course...

Four points. Four teams. In these dog days of January it's looking very much like this is our promotion race, with two of the teams left to take their chances in the play-offs.

Sheffield United's shock home defeat to Hull City back on Friday night has left the door open for Leeds to end the to-and-froing at the top of the table and make the No1 place their own.

However a win for Burnley tonight would take them above the Blades and level on points with the Whites.

    Good evening.

What better way to round off a weird and wonderful weekend of EFL action than with one of, if not the biggest game of the season?

Championship leaders Leeds United head across the Pennines to visit Burnley, who are third and just three points behind the Whites.

These two haven't tasted defeat in their past 25 games combined while the hosts have the meanest defence in the country and the visitors have scored more Championship goals than anyone.

If this one lives up to the hype, well, my goodness... we're in for a Monday night treat.

    Don't go anywhere...
