Lawrence Shankland netted two second-half penalties to turn a stuffy affair down easy street.
James Wilson kicked things off after three minutes, but Josh Cooper equalised for hosts before the break.
After Shankland's two spot-kicks in under three minutes, Stephen Kingsley rounded things off with a fantastic fourth.

It started off as the dream debut in the dugout for Derek McInnes - Hearts took the lead after three minutes thanks to James Wilson's strike.
It was dominant, albeit dull from Hearts until Dunfermline's first shot of the game found the back of the net after 37 mins - Josh Cooper with the tidy finish.
It's finely poised in the blistering Gorgie sun.
