  1. PSG take the leadpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Stuttgart 0-1 PSG

The perfect start for Paris St-Germain as they take the lead in the sixth minute.

This is a game both sides know they need to win and it is advantage the visitors as a corner is flicked on acrobatically and Bradley Barcola heads in at the back post.

What is the fastest ever CL hat trick? Rogers must be in with a chance for it now?

    Girona 0-0 Arsenal

A cross finds Leandro Trossard and he sort of I don't know backs it wide, sides it wide? Anyway the ball hits his torso somewhere and goes wide.

  4. 'This could be a long, long night for Celtic'published at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Aston Villa 2-0 Celtic

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic and Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

I think it takes a deflection actually but that is too easy for Aston Villa.

Ollie Watkins plays it to Rogers and he fires a shot and it deflected over Schmeichel. 2-0 and what a start for Aston Villa.

You get a feeling that this will be a long, long night for Celtic.

  5. 'What a start'published at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Aston Villa 2-0 Celtic

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic and Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

    For the first goal

Really slick bit of play on the left-hand side. Ramsey got the the by line and fizzed it across the goalline. Rogers was there to finish.

    What a start for Villa.

Red Bull Salzburg 0-1 Atletico Madrid

Great start for Atletico Madrid who boost their top eight hopes. Julian Alvarez sends through Giuliano Simeone and the manager's son finishes with a driven effort across goal.

    Man City 0-0 Club Brugge

The longer this goes on, the more the nerves will start to take hold of the home supporters at Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City win a corner and Phil Foden swings it in but it's an awkward delivery and comes to nothing.

Two in just under two minutes and it's been so easy for Aston Villa.

    PSV Eindhoven 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool's first attempt comes from Federico Chiesa and it's heading for the roof of the net but is eventually gathered at the second attempt by PSV goalkeeper Walter Benitez.

    Inter 1-0 Monaco

An early goal at the San Siro too.

Inter Milan take the lead through Lautaro Martinez's penalty, making the Argentine Inter's highest goalscorer in the Champions League.

Monaco captain Denis Zakaria had chopped down Marcus Thuram in the area.

  11. Guardiola's anguishpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Man City 0-0 Club Brugge

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Etihad Stadium

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola spins around with his head in his hands as a mix-up almost allows Club Brugge in on goal.

    Not the ideal start.

    A second!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morgan Rogers has two Champions League career goals now.

    And Villa are in control.

Kasper Schmeichel's clearance is cut out and Rogers hits a beauty into the top corner from 18 yards. Lovely spin on it, maybe a deflection.

    PSV Eindhoven 0-0 Liverpool

As we know, Liverpool are one of only two teams to have guaranteed their place in the top eight and therefore the last-16.

It's an opportunity for a day off for the big hitters but a big chance to impress for the youngsters.

    Girona 0-0 Arsenal

Raheem Sterling flashes one just wide with a curling effort form the edge of the box.

There was a misunderstanding between Matheus Nunes and Manuel Akanji about who was going to deal with the long ball. As Christos Tzolis broke down the wing Pep Guardiola had his head in his hands. A massive opportunity for Brugge.

    Man City 0-0 Club Brugge

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

Around Europe there are supporters, and members of the media, at grounds watching the game in front of them and also keeping up to date with the latest scores to work out who will finish where.

    None of that needed here.

It's quite simple. If Manchester City win, they play at home in the first leg of a play-off, if they don't, they have two midweeks in February off, a couple in March and more in April and May.

    Man City 0-0 Club Brugge

Goodness me. Club Brugge sitting in and looking to hit Manchester City on the counter attack and they're in early through Christos Tzolis but Josko Gvardiol makes a crucial block.
