It's whipped to the far post and Erling Haaland opts to head back across the face of goal rather than go for the target himself and it doesn't pay off.

Liam Scales did well to block that cross but then Cash marauding forward had the strike and it was blocked again.

Man City are getting closer and closer now. It's a clever little header from Bernardo Silva into the path of Ilkay Gundogan. He strokes it into the far corner but it was offside. Lovely finish but it doesn't count.

Lille 1-1 Feyenoord
Feyenoord weren't behind for long with Santiago Gimenez getting the slightest touch on Gernot Trauner's header from a corner to level at Lille.
Lille now down to 13th with Feyenoord 12th.

Celtic striker Adam Idah tries to do Boubacar Kamara for pace to get into the box but the Villa man tracks him well and puts him off.

Ilkay Gundogan has the ball in the back of the net but it's immediately ruled out for offside.
The German gets free on the right and slots into the far corner.
It won't count but it wouldn't have been the first time he's scored an important goal for Manchester City.

Villa look for a third. Morgan Rogers passes and Matty Cash has a shot blocked from just outside the box.
Red Bull Salzburg 0-2 Atletico Madrid
A second for Atletico Madrid. This is brilliant stuff from Giuliano Simeone who shows off his inner Mesut Ozil to dink the ball over Red Bull Salzburg keeper Alexander Schlager.
He then hits a perfect cross for Antoine Griezmann who finishes on the slide.

Erling Haaland is almost redundant in this game. Brugge are dropping right off and keeping him out of the game unless Man City cross it, and that is when he has to come alive.
