  5. Club Brugge worth a play-off placepublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Man City 2-1 Club Brugge

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

A couple of things following that Manchester City goal - which led to Pep Guardiola booting the drinks container at the back of his technical area.

First, Club Brugge have proved themselves to be exceptionally dangerous on the counter attack so City need to be wary before believing their job is done.

Secondly, with Sporting losing and Stuttgart getting hammered, it appears the Belgian side will be in the play-offs as well.

On this evidence, they absolutely deserve to be there.

    Lille 3-1 Feyenoord

Breathing space for Lille as England international Angel Gomes adds a third via a huge deflection off David Hancko.

It is a wonderful slipped pass from Savinho into Josko Gvardiol and he fizzes the ball across the front post. Joel Ordonez has to impact the ball but he does so by putting it into his own net. Brilliant wide play from City.
